Thanks for your video it definitely provided a real world overview before I put mine together today. The included instructions are more confusing then helpful. FYI your front valance bar is installed backwards, that's why your valance angles up before it hangs down. Also the wall brackets have two parallel ridges on the top hole where the awning metal bar nut goes, if those are positioned on top, then you don't need a wrench to hold the nut while you tighten the securing bolt. Thanks again, keep making videos !!
Hey Josh. You have been a great source of information for many of my home projects. This is next project the list. It arrived yesterday and the instructions a terrible. Thanks again!
You mentioned needing to do more adjustments to make it fully extend out. Why was that necessary and was it accomplished? Would have been nice to see it fully functional.
Josh, this is an amazing video and helped me a lot to install my awning. Do you have any instructions on how to do the adjustments to the motor (open and close states)
Thank you for the help, I have the same one you installed, and I could not figure out how far away from the edge to put the the Q parts. Any suggestions, 4 inches ?
I bought the same awning, 20x10, I understand in order to install the first bracket, it has to be from the edge of each side of the awning 6" inches inside, but how many inches or feet (estimate) from the other two brackets that goes in the middle? Thank you for your video!

Your instructions were much more clear than the instruction manual that came with the awning. Thank you!!
Thank you I’m glad it helps!
You got an instruction manual? Cheap china trash this thing is

Bet they wish they would've bought a longer awning or installed it much lower, huh.. Thanks for the video. You do fantastic work.
Thanks! I try to do the best I can with each project. I appreciate you watching the video. Take care!
If it took you 8 hours, it'd take the average DIYer a month's worth of weekends, lol. Great work and video as always!
Thanks I appreciate that!

Can you make a video of you installing cabinets inside your garage
I’m actually editing a video where I am building French cleats on the wall for hanging anything! Stay tuned, it will be out soon!
Hiiiya brother!!! Cheers 🍻
I think it will blow off in the wind. There should be a fully automated awning that senses light rain and wind and automatically extends or retracts.
Sunsetter does that
Hum... It's definitely something that would fit an individuals preference!
Everybody don't need to LOVE Everything 👋, LOL...
If I spend a thousand dollars the last thing I want to hear is, "It's definitely not the best build quality." Good video, though.
15:33 Several lumens huh?..😅
I paid $500 for mine and it took me 3 days and I had no help.
What a nightmare this thing is
It was certainly a lot of work! Definitely not easy. Thanks for watching!
The instructions are terrible. I can’t get the arms to operate properly to put the awning out evenly.
OMG no thank you- good video though
