- Danielle de Niese talks about Handel, with musical illustrations: 'I know that my redeemer liveth,' from Messiah; 'Lascia ch'io pianga' from Rinaldo; and 'Piangerò la sorte mia' from Giulio Cesare in Egitto.
I want to see her happy all the time!
Such a beautiful voice :D
I think Danielle is the best Handel ambassador ever. She almost convinced me that JS Bach isn't the #1 composer of all time. :-)
I wouldn’t say that JS Bach is the best composer of all time. There are countless others that challenge him for that title, which is always subjective. Handel, Beethoven, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff, Sibelius, Schubert, and many others would be on that list for me.
Amazing wow
so moving. i will definitely go to see her performance in sydney. with plenty of tissues in my purse

No idea, having never seen it. I can tell you that it's the Sheldonian Theatre at the University of Oxford, if that helps?
Was a scene from the movie "The Red Violin" filmed in the hall she's singing in?
Ask her why women like chatting so much. Theres nothing wrong with quietly thinking! Thats why I will not get married, I want my ears to remain intact!!
Silver Bells Christmas song

@giovanna523 Not just the camera work is awful... so is the singer... ew
