yknow, a lot of the reason why i became such a big fan of set it off was because of how much they helped me with my anger management issues and how i could use their music as a coping mechanism, but this song doesn’t really do that for me. it’s good, of course, but the way i see it is someone so used to being everyone’s anchor that when they find that one person they can be vulnerable with it makes them want to be that way with them all the time, and when that is slowed down it just seems more sad and it helps me more with my sad times then the angry times. you guys really can do it all. i may not be surprised, but i sure as hell am impresssd.

I heard this on my echoshow and was like "this is awesome!" And now I am gonna be listening to it at lunch before my EOC. I love this song so much I had it on all night last night. :D My mind will not shut up about wanting to hug Cody. Set it off has made me feel different than I'm used to. I'm used to songs that are about being trapped in hate and anger and being unnoticed. Set it Off has some of that, but makes it inspirational as well. Set It Off's music has lifted some of the darkness from my pained heart. I wear black a little less, I find myself thinking of hate less. I have been looking for answers for my 5 year struggle that I recently realized I can't get closure from. Moving to Florida meant no closure from what had happened to me a few years ago. I don't know why it took so long to realize that, but I am not gonna stop finding ways to help myself get through the pain some other way. If I don't keep looking for answers I don't know what will happen. For the first time my parents told me they would help me out if I wanted to do therapy, and last time they told me I didn't need it so this is huge to me because for so long I never felt I could trust them with anything. I'm slowly feeling like I can trust other humans with my thoughts and it's because Set It Off has inspired me to be a little more positive in my head. Seeing Cody makes me instantly smile because I'm a fangirl. His voice is so perfect I wish I could hear it 24/7. I want nothing more to be truely happy and I will wait as long as it takes to get there. I used to think all I had to do was wait and things would get better. I eventually realized I had to make things happen to help my mind get better. For 5 years I have replayed the same events in my head and I am hopeful that the terrible memories can end if I keep trying to find answers that help me realize what I need to do.
