A Huge Thank You to Patreon Supporter Scott for sending these bad boy rings in. If he was willing to spend $200 on a set of rings. You can bet your bottom dollar that the glass going inside of it will be nothing short of stellar.

I think it´s made to fit a weaver rail. The gaps in weaver rails are smaller than picatinny so the vortex rings will not fit a weaver rail. They sell weaver versions of the vortex precision rings
Google weaver vs picatinny.
ZEISS website states they are 1913 Mil-Std (Picatinny)
@@1.forestrunner you can run weaver rings on picatinny but not the other way around.
IIRC the groves on the inside are for rosin to allow for better contact. At least that's what I vaguely remember being the reason for Spuhr's.
So, if you want shinier, heavier, sharply finished, more expensive rings, these sound great. Lol.
Thanks for showing the numbers 18 and 36.
For top tier rings, made FOR a pic rail, it BETTER fit SNUG in the rail slot. Even if this has negligable benefit, it shows how much they care about precision.
Hi. I`m 99% pisitive, These are manufactured by TierOne (UK). They are high quality (had some 34mm TierOnes). But I always prefer a monoblock type design. Even my cheap china ADN knock offs hold zero perfectly and I dont need to worry about alignment. Greetings from Germany!
You compared medium/high zeiss rings to vortex lows??
I'm always looking for a better mouse trap like scope rings having something not too many rings will have, a bubble level. Burris Signature XTR rings cost between $120 - $180, and they fit tight scope rail plus the insert (plastic) added MOA figure.
Take a look at the ZCO rings.. they look odd similar to these Zeiss rings
Nice value
Warne mountain tech rings. Best of them all
I have 34 mm Zeiss rings on a Eotech 5x25 34mm tube but the rings don’t close all the way I have a pretty good size gap between the top and bottom I tried to get them as even as I could. Is this normal?
You can't beat nightforce ultralite rings they are first class
Maybe I'm the only one but I really could care less about the packaging. Sell it to me in something that is adequate to prevent damage, but inexpensive because I don't want to pay for expensive packaging that I will throw in the burn pile immediately after. Glossy boxes with fancy logos and artwork? The fire doesn't care and neither do I, it doesn't make the product perform any better.
My offset mount cost 12$
The grooves might be for moisture to escape. I dunno.
