Many people I"ve seen to say that there is very little difference between 144hz and 240hz. My laptop has a 360hz display, and trust me there is vast difference between 144hz and 240hz. But there is no such difference between 240hz and 360hz. If you're a competitive esports gamer, then you should definitely go for a 240hz monitor. Thank me later 😉
The biggest plus is that both 240hz and 360hz is evenly dividable by all the common framerates nowadays like 120, 60, 30 and 24 so you can still watch most non gaming related stuff without playing around with the refresh rate for an optimal experience overall, i used to own a 144hz monitor but ended up only using the also universally dividable 120hz instead since 144hz was only slightly more useful when gaming.

What about minimum brightness? Not too bright? I returned the MSI Optix G2412 monitor due to the fact that the minimum brightness is too bright. To understand MSI G2412 at 0% as LG 24GN600-B at 40% in brightness.

I owned a Viewsonic XG2431, yes it is really good specially with the backlight strobing and the closest to a BenQ Zowie xl2546k, the viewsonic xg2431 only lasted for 2 years and 10 months on me, now im surveying the market for other 240hz that will last atleast for 5 years, and i am not even a hardcore gamer.

Maybe you have answered this but i see that you dont have freesync on (on my monitor it say adaptive sync) i guess its pretty much the same. Is there a reason you dont have it on for competetive games? ive been playing around with it on and then off and i see a difference when i play cs2.
@@gamingwithmoiz4 sry for delayed answer, I used this monitor for a while and experienced some ghosting. I recommend buying one that has fast IPS, I did see a vast improvement in ghosting and tearing. Hope this helps.

It may be too bright, especially in the evening/night time, I can only advise you to lower the brightness, but this monitor's minimum brightness is still very bright (Brightness Typical - 400 cd/㎡ ,Brightness Min - 320 cd/㎡), judging by the specifications. has anything changed for you a month later?

Hz make difference only where there are fast moving objects on screen.....there is a limit to what human eye can see the difference
I did not notice any difference when i switched to 240 But i did notice a difference when i tried to switch back
