    Thanks for doing this video via UA-cam. You did an excellent job presenting this power generator. I did not know what UPS actually was but I will make sure it is in the power station I purchase. This video is the first I saw about this power generator. I am impressed especially with the warrant time as well as the Bluetooth capability, the additional extended batteries and the five ways to charge it. I will check online for the price. Thanks for reading my comments. Smiles

  • @arthurleslie9669
    @arthurleslie9669 10 місяців тому +2

    LaMar ... Although it talks about using it as a UPS on the website, there is no mention of whether it has "pass through" or not. If so, is it a true pass through or not. Any idea? I would never use one as a UPS without true pass through so that that battery/inverter are not used until it loses AC.

    • @solarcabin
      @solarcabin  10 місяців тому

      Good question Art. I think once the unit is fully charged it is pass through but I will look through the manual and try to find out.

    • @solarcabin
      @solarcabin  10 місяців тому +2

      Hey Art, the manual says that is a pass through and runs off the wall AC not through the battery unless the power shuts off.

    Really good review sir! Would you happen to know if it’s possible to get a 50 ft extension solar panel cable? If so could you recommend one, thanks.

      What volts and amps? I usually make my own out of extension cords but you can buy MC4 cables on Amazon.

    Does anyone else have this issue with the R2500? It trips at 100% when I plug in a 1400W vacuum cleaner, even though the battery is supposed to handle peaks up to 4000W. The same happens with a microwave that consumes a maximum of 2000W; it also trips. I’m considering requesting a return

      Do you have the 110 volt transformer for the fridge? I use that for same reason. The power station has to detect a steady draw or it will shut off to conserve power.

      It is pretty quiet. No issues other than you need to turn the inverter off when not in use or it will run the battery down over time. Charges fast from AC or solar.
