Lincoln is another awesome looking city to walk around and explore it is really very beautiful with the magnificent buildings and the nice local stores to shop in and places to eat, this is another awesome video walk and Lincoln is a magnificent city Thank You.🇬🇧😇👋🇬🇧
I loved visiting Lincoln, I was really impressed by the rich history and architecture. The cathedral is beautiful, the castle, the medieval wall walk and Magna Carta.
Thanks for another good video...My home town.. I was born 100 yards from the cathedral. The old charm around Brayford pool has sadly been destroyed by modern architecture, but the young un's like it. Up the Imps.
Great tour of my home city, so glad you mentioned the people, what makes it impossible to leave both in the city and the county is the fabulous welcoming character of its people, the feel in each local pub is truly wonderful.
There are so many little nooks and crannies in the city, the best thing to do is just do the tourist spots on day one and then let your feet guide you, there's everything to find from little sections of Roman and medieval walls hidden about, to the public gardens hidden about, the less said about motherby hill the better 😂
Hi Neil, thanks for a lovely video of my home town. I’m so lucky to live here. You really should do a video from the wall walk, great views across the city and part of it takes you through an old graveyard. If you get chance go inside the old prison building, it’s fascinating, similar to a scaled down version of York castle museum.
We are planning on going to Lincoln for a few days this August so I'm really enjoying your tour. It looks like a beautiful place! I like how you write down the names of some of the streets you're walking down.
Hi, just found you channel. Love it, it's great the way you add little captions etc. It helps us know where about's you are so that we can find those places when we visit. Keep up the great work.......Subscribed.
I love Lincoln and York, they are amazing places and your tour only takes in a small part of how great it is. I hope you appreciate what a great thing you do, bringing an insight of a place to people who potentially can’t now visit these places, fantastic effort mate 👍
If you’d looked on the road outside the Lion and Snake you would have noticed circles in the road. These used to be the columns to the entrance of the Roman Colonial building.
I was asked to do a photo assignment at the cathedral about 12 years ago, it included going on the roof! Additional facts, it was once voted 9th most beautiful building in the world by a panel including Prince Phillip, John Ruskin, architectural critic, l believe said it was the greatest building in England. Cromwell's troops and horses stayed in it... They shot the heads off statues for practice.!!
Just started watching the video and wondering if you sat the Jubilee table in the cathedral made from a trunk of an oak tree that grew 5500 years ago and was found submerged in the fens it’s beautiful
Thanks for watching! Also watch our brilliant tour of The Cotswolds - ua-cam.com/video/_sYUAyNby00/v-deo.html

Magnificent cathedral! I wonder if they ever filmed a movie in there?
The Da Vinci Code filmed in there, and the new Napoleon movie uses it to stand in for Notre Dame!
Hello I love your videos I was just wondering have you done a video of Boston, lincolnshire or Northampton, Northamptonshire
I have - very recently in fact!

Hi, we are subscribed to your wonderful channel, just love UK!
Should consider using a wind noise proof mic.
I do - this one was a new microphone and I got blasted by gusts just after setting off!
@@GimbalWalkTV windy Lincoln!
@@TheAndreschen77 Very!
went a couple of years ago. Did you walk Steep Hill lol easier down than up. Beautiful city and Cathedral
That hill should have a stairlift 🤣
@@GimbalWalkTV do you think an electric bike would do ?
@@oliverkent8429 Think that might even struggle!
