IDC what anyone says, the Buu saga has a special place in my heart due to giving us a break from the heavy Sci-Fi from the previous 3 arcs and putting magic back into the DB universe again.
It’s probably the weakest arc, but there’s still plenty about it that I find hits really hard, and it resonates with me regardless of its various faults.
3:00 The scene that this music always stood out to me in is when Super Buu first appears and immediately goes right for the lookout, while everyone up there slowly realizes how absolutely boned they are.
@SuperDemonelf Yeah something about that moment lowkey scared me as a teenager. Might've been the fact that Evil Buu ate his better half, or the feeling the dread the dragon team felt when they realized he was heading right for them or both.

No major villain ever went near the Lookout, so when he did it was confirmation that nowhere was safe. They could hide from Frieza because he couldn't sense power levels. Cell was threatening but bound himself by rules. Buu? He could sense them, he had no rules, and he was going to hunt them and kill them.

This may be the greatest thing that has ever graced my ears. I wasn't looking for this, but it is perfection, blending every step of the way along the Majin Buu musical chain I remember resonating with me when I first watched this series in a way that brings me unspeakable joy.

Best Buu Mic I've ever heard. Brought me back to the past. Favorite DBZ villain and always will be. The only part that I wish was blended with this awesome theme is the fat buu theme when he's walking back to Vegeta before the self destructs scene. Great Job on the music 💪💯

I love the buu saga! Even today I like to think that kid buu is the strongest villain, just placed in the wrong part of the story (kinda like how kias and destroyers are linked but beerus is waaay out of supreme kias league which is dumb, cus again their stories were brought in at the wrong time and the story had to progressed. Cus now the story has progressed. But even Friza knew not to mess with beerus OR buu, who was literally wiping out worlds and gods left and right being this uncomprehending mass of evil. If brought in at the right times I’m sure Supreme Kia would of truly been Beeru’s counterpart and Buu would of been this same level of threat existing. Prehaps they would of said he had a power like a destroyer but darker or uncontrollable.

it was nice having a villain who's body was mare of magic and had magic like Abilities

12 year old me was terrified when he slowly was doing a circle around the edge of the Lookout. You just knew it was going to be bad.
