As some of you know, I already made Vegeta's Theme in my Vegeta Medley. But Vegeta's themes deserve their own track, as they are some of the best in the series. I really wanted to make this one super epic, something fit for the royalty that Prince Vegeta is. I also wanted to keep Vegeta in his base form for the art, as this is how I remember him when I first heard this theme. That said, I will be doing Vegeta SSJ Theme too in the future.

The English soundtrack is great, and I love many scores from it, my favorites being Vegeta’s Theme and Destruction but the Shunsuke Kukichi score is truly the most DB iconic music.

The Prince's Theme, done perfectly. It's perfect, it has the right touch of sinister for his appearances in the Saiyan Saga and Frieza Saga, and a perfect turn into deadly seriousness, like you are one of his foes that look him in the eyes before becoming another tally mark on his kill count. Absolutely done perfectly in the way GLADIUS can do remixes, and a welcome thing to come home to after a rough day.
Also welcome back home, hope your well deserved holiday was fun and relaxing.
I almost drew him in his first Saiyan armour or even the one he picked up before he fought frieza but I decided to go with the one that he most commonly seen in as I feel it symbolises his Saiyan & earth pride at its finest (I imagine Bulma designed this one per his request as she gave everyone else one at the lookout, and for him to accept that from her must signify him beginning to accept earth as his home, even if he didn’t know it yet).

There we are, someone who knows how to do Hell’s Bells properly. Years and years of people trying to do this theme justice and falling short of the real feeling of the Prince of Saiyan’s theme. The guitar rifts are just so splendid and the feeling really captures the essence of OG Dragon Ball Z for me and reminds me of the first time I saw Vegeta ascend to a Super Saiyan! It’s so wonderfully done and stands even stronger without the part where it transitions into what everyone knows as the Final Flash theme (even if I am a sucker of the Final Flash theme).
Another amazing job, GLADIUS, keep up the good work, my brother! 👏👏
I wanted to get it right so I took my time with it ;) when you say final flash theme, do you mean when he’s charging it up against Cell with the Dragon Theme that goes into Vegeta SSJ Theme when he fires it off?

This reminds me of back in the day as the android saga was releasing, me and my cousin were watching and after Vegeta transformed into ssj and was berating the rest of the z fighters, my cousin got hyped and said "Vegeta doesnt have time for these fucking weaklings" lol still makes me laugh all these years later.

The things I liked about Vegeta's Themes, was in fact their build up to what was to come.
*The Bells tolling to signify that His Ascension Will Come, followed by Him Powering Up and Smoothly ending to what Enemies Must and Shall Fear a "Legendary Saiyan Warrior."*
_One that will annihilate all in his Path, spoken only by a remaining few in fear of his return_ *"His name Is Vegeta."*

Personally, I think the clap-beat thing from the medley was just unbeatable, but hey, this is the full theme.
In light of this... if you ever to a SSJ3 theme remake, may I humbly request something that would put it over virtually every other version?
Namely, the intro... Nobody seems to remember how the lead-in from the original scene, when Goku first transforms to SSJ1 on his way up to 3, added so much to that sequence. Everybody who does a cover just bases it on the OST track, which doesn't include that lead-in from the episode.
You literally make the best Toonami era Z covers, so I HAVE to shoot my shot and hope you can carry on that trend...
I agree some of the lead ups or those little bit of magic from a few seconds in some themes, really adds to the spice!
Yeah I didn’t think I was gonna do a stand-alone version but people kept asking for it and frankly- I didn’t feel like I was quite finished with that track anyway 😉
And good news, I was eventually do a full version of SSJ3 power up- and I’m really glad you suggested the intro, I don’t think I’ve heard anyone do it like that either. I will probably do it just like that when I finally make it ☺️
