SUPERBOOTH 2024: Intuitive Instruments - Exquis Expressive Controller

- At Superbooth 2024, Serguei from Intuitive Instruments showcased their latest improvements to Exquis *their expressive controller. *Exquis offers pressure, velocity, and positional sensitivity. Since NAMM, Intuitive Instruments has been working on a new firmware that includes improved sensitivity settings and note layouts based on user feedback. Besides the traditional hexagonal layout, they now offer options such as the harmonic table layout for chord playing and microtonal music enthusiasts. Users will soon be able to customize individual key values via the app, expanding the creative possibilities of the instrument.
Exquis is currently available for purchase on their website. offering a versatile performance tool that can be connected via USB, MIDI, or CV for compatibility with various setups. The built-in app acts as a plug-in host, allowing users to load VSTs, save presets, create tracks, and record loops directly from the keyboard.

Bought one after using it. V difficult to appreciate how tactile it is from a video. Brought a smile to my face first time I used it.

These guys were next to the playfader lot and these two stands were probably the most expressive and inspiring things I saw. As a first-timer at super booth and very new to synths and this world, I was absolutely blown away by this, So tactile and the app is a great idea to host vst's 🙌
This is going to be an awesome update. I love Exquis for what it is, but this is going to make it so much more flexible. I am stoked to see it!

Looks great. Out of stock ATM unfortunately. Surprised that they were able to patent their specific scale layout on a hex keyboard. Especially given the fact that most of these hex keyboards can be mapped by the end user anyway.
They're in stock in EU, just ordered one. I wonder how it will feel
alot of power in a small space , if priced right , it could fit in a lot of home studios

Did they? Which key layout specifically? I was skipping through the video and didn't see any mention of a patent, was that mentioned elsewhere?
