i used to go to that exact one in gold coast for my birthday as a kid, the whole restaurant would sing happy birthday as they brought out dessert. now i pass the abandoned space daily.
I used to go to Rainforest Cafe when I was a little kid back in the day man I miss those times.😢 I remember the thunder and lightning and they used to say Volcano!!!!!!!!!!
God i so vividly remember this place…that frog was where me and my friends would meet at “see you at the frog” good memories. Also…kinda epic if they leaf all that greenery on the walls for the new dispensary
do you Chicago people I feel really really really sad for you😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 it must’ve had been really sad when a rainforest Café near you has shut down
Where I live, in Ada OK, everything is turned into dispensary ... there are more dispensary stores than churches and that's a lot. (I don't know if that's a fact, just my guesstamate)
Well. Talk about a kick in the gut... My dad took me here 22 years ago... it was the last time we went out to a restaurant before he quit speaking to me. I guess it survived a bit longer than our relationship. 😂
So this was not long ago but we went to Chicago and we were doing something but we came back a bit late so we walked and we walked until we had to walk near the rainforest cafe it was scary.
@@BongMilker2006F you, rainforest cafe was my childhood. I don’t want a shitty dispensary to ruin the nostalgia of the jungle background and the frog mascot on top
Lol mr bongmilker here is exactly the type of dude ruining civilization. Everyone loves weed but everything in this dystopian hell hole of a country is liquor stores and dispensaries. Keeping you dumb and docile so you won’t stand up for yourselves or wake up to what’s actually going on. TYPICAL
Everything is getting turned into a “dispensary” nowadays

That was the biggest Rainforest Cafe I went to growing up. It actually felt like you were in the middle of the jungle. 😢
I would always stare at it from my apartment at night when I was there in 2018 crazy it’s gone
Many of the people in this comment section went to this one, me included and its so sad to see it gone.
i went there in 2019 and its crazy that its changed i had no idea
I love when the frog looks like! 😭
I ❤️ the 2000’s and 2010’s
the frog is so cloudy 🥶
Is it just me or does the frog slowly look sadder from the first to the third pic?
So upsetting, that was a really good location too
