I love the way Conan always ends his podcasts with heartwarming parting words to the guest.
At the same time I hate it, bc it seems like he’s saying goodbye and at one point it will be his last words to that one person. 😢
I just don’t want Conan to age. Never get old, never stop what you’re doing. We need you. You’re a vital part of our joy in life ❤

I’ve been in love with this gorgeous man for decades! He has such a beautiful timbre and a rhythm to his speech that makes him easily recognizable. His hair has always been a thing of beauty too. I quote his movies all the time. ❤

I think Jeff meant "free will" and not will power at the end there. And he's referring to dr. Robert Sapolsky who is a neuroscientist and anthropologist who mainly studies primates which doesn't apply to Woody Woodpecker type figures such as Conan.
To be fair....you can't have will power without free will....so.....retroactively if there's.no will power then it's prbly because there's no free.will....so Jeff ain't far off.....Fisher King silogisms....

Don’t you ever shave off those glorious red locks! The little crest/wave is iconic. Dracula has the widow peak, Conan has the red crest. The last part almost sounds like you need to have a falcon on your arm.
His hair has been grey for years lol. He dyes it to keep the iconic factor.

My hair was thinning. I decided to do the honorable thing and shave it. It came back fuller than ever. This has happened to me three times over 30 years, now. Sometimes the scalp needs a little vacation.
As a young man Jeff did "The Last American Hero", a NASCAR movie. It is deeper than you could ever imagine a NASCAR movie to be. Ned Beatty, Valerie Perrine and some kid by the name of Gary Busey. Even if you are not a "car guy" it's really something (I'm a car guy).
Love Jeff in the fabulous Baker boys, among many others, likes, Star man, K- Pax, and others.

Seems everybody has a favorite Jeff Bridges flick… I have two - Of course, Lebowski and then, Thunderbolt … I have always thought that he really nailed that part. His slow death scene … I hated George Kennedy for years after he knocked the pee-woddlin’-gee-whiz out of him. The way he got progressively worse. It felt like we were watching the poor kid slowly declining, fading … The novacane injection to his cheek before shooting that final Caddy scene made it seem like he was really starting to circle the drain, it felt so real. As a kid seeing that part got to me. Since then, I’ve always given ‘The Dude’ a mental tip of the cap whenever I see him. He’s really good at what he does. Mike Nelson would be proud.

It's great to see BB looking like himself again. For a while he was so thin ,and the bald head made him look like someone else. He is winning his battle.
holy hell this man looks good. AND only ONE WIFE. SINCE 1977. This gave me hope and a feeling you could only get when you watch twin peaks ona summer vacation (or better yet, summer break in school) with ice cold soda or something. The "will power" or perhaps "free will" or how some are born with some limited faculty due to physical limitations no matter how much the driver drives that crappy car kind of concession to this issue and everything is a bit tricky but I am also pleasantly surprised jeff, as an actor but a man first in his 70s is interested in these things.

They explain it at the end of the podcast, so they can monitor themselves and never get too far from the mic. It shouldn't be a problem if they always stay close to it, but a lot of people get caught on the conversation or relax too much and they forget about it.

Jeff is such a great actor because he is fearless. He will take on any role and kill it. Just amazing. The opposite of Saint Tom Hanks who always has to be the hero or good guy. Jeff is an actors actor.

I wonder If Jeff Bridges knows this. In AA people in recovery are urged to believe in a God. If none of the "traditional" Gods works for them - they are urged to create or pick one from arts, literature, etc... THE DUDE is the higher power for many many recovering Alkies and Druggies. True story.
I hope Conan gets Theo Von and Bobby Lee on the podcast. They have the best dynamic of any two comedians.
