Another fun review. I remember getting the original and grape when I was younger and loved them.i want to try these flavors now. And yes I use to love the banana bubble gum as well. Wish they still made it.
I live in Australia and when i was a boy (around 88/89) a friends family went to the US and brought some grape and original and apple back with them, like 4 packs of each. My friend played God with this glorious chewing gum and it blew our minds and there was certainly nothing like this is Australia as far as flavour and conception at that time .......30 years later i find it in a specialised candy shop.
Watermelon was my favorite! It’s a jolly rancher watermelon... I loved hubba bubba gum... their grape was the best.... they also had a blueberry... not blue raspberry... there was also a 7up, a&w, and cherry coke gum that had a liquid center.... I don’t know when they stopped making it (or if they did) but I haven’t seen them in years...
This was a lot of fun.....haven’t had gum in a long time and this looks so good I’ll look for it. I would love to see if the kids are allowed to have some. Thanks for a terrific review. Have a sunny weekend.
I’m in Australia and have three of these flavours (grape, watermelon, sour apple) right next to me while I was watching! They definitely remind me of Hubba Bubba bubble gum which we still have here! The original, grape and strawberry can be purchased only in our Coles supermarkets in a pack of 4. Can also find the measuring tape looking Hubba Bubbas in Big W department stores. The grape Hubba Bubba is definitely close to Big League gum but BLG wins in flavour intensity! I’m in my mid 30’s and remember growing up and finding imported American candies like Hubba Bubba like the cola and Dr Pepper and the sour ones! I currently have Dr Pepper cotton candy to try, apparently it’s good! I also loved seeing your boba bubble tea reviews. Its pretty big here too. Many shops in our big cities. I’m interested in trying those canned ones as I already make my own bubble tea and I have the proper tumblers with the jumbo straws, syrups as well as the jellies, popping pearls (those are fun, they pop and have juice in them) and the tapioca pearls I boil myself.
@@TamiDunn Yup! It's actually very easy to make and a hell of a lot cheaper too! I like to make mine way less sweet and I add vanilla ice cream to my milk tea powder mixes in a USB cup blender as it makes it thicker like a shake. The ones in stores are tooth achingly sweet so adding ice cream I don't use the liquid fructose included in the kits. I have a whole collection of flavours now like chocolate, strawberry, taro, honeydew, coconut and Thai tea to peach, mango, lychee, strawberry and green apple fruit tea syrups. I made four large orders, spent a fortune spread over two months but I have enough milk tea powders, tea bags, fruit syrups and toppings to last me until Easter! I live in a regional city 2 hours away from Melbourne city and we don't have bubble tea shops here plus my state of Victoria was in a full second wave lockdown from Aug-October for 100 days so the online BBT company I bought from became HUGELY popular and they only opened in April!
Well if u think about it it’s centered around sports and it helps baseball players step away from real chew something been in the sports for decades and gives kids a safe alternative that they can carry with them to the pros
8 Flavors? That's 6 more than I even knew existed. I haven't had these since I was in little league back in the late 1970's. Even back then I knew they were more gimmick than quality.
I wasn’t allowed to chew gum until I was like 8/9. My mom was terrified of me choking to death, haha!! I’d probably like the cotton candy. More gum companies should do that flavor!!
W....T...F.... Ok... i grew up with this and loooooooooved it. Grape and original.this is amazing. Good lord you really outdid yourselves huh? Ok then. Enjoy!
You need a lot because the wad of gum shrinks. I never saw more than the 2 flavors as well. It was the Halloween "pink" gum like Bazooka and Double Bubble that start out rock hard make your jaw hurt after a while when all the sugar/flavor are used up. What's fun is falling asleep while you still had gum in your mouth and waking up with it all in your hair.
One idea in it's creation may have been to imitate the chewing tobacco players used, but another idea was to have a healthier alternative to the chewing tobacco. Some players were encouraged to use this product instead of chewing tobacco. Happy that none of them contain aspartame
We usetoo have Hubba bubba’s around in uk when I was younger I totally get u they came out with double flavour like cola and lemon and strawberry sadly in the uk they don’t sell Hubba babba anymore 😓
this brigs back little league memories right before my team would bat we would shove a big glob in are mouth for good luck like the mlb players and chewing Tabaco
This stuff hit different during a game

@@Professionalhaterlol What is that supposed to mean?
I'm surprised they still sell this (unlike candy cigarettes)
Glad they do tho
Well if u think about it it’s centered around sports and it helps baseball players step away from real chew something been in the sports for decades and gives kids a safe alternative that they can carry with them to the pros

Big League Chew came out with a plug version in the 80s, it wasnt gum, it was basically a tootsie roll, about the size of a tic tac pack.
I wasn’t allowed to chew gum until I was like 8/9. My mom was terrified of me choking to death, haha!! I’d probably like the cotton candy. More gum companies should do that flavor!!
Bubble yum makes cotton candy

That's smart. This is much better than chewing tobacco.
Cotton candy is the goat
