Braxton Marshall he plays when he wants to play effort is one of my problems with moss. Moss never went over the middle & made tough catches, he only ran 2 routes. Receivers such as carter, rice, t.o, Andre reed for example ran all the routes.

One of the truly great wide receivers. Imagine being the Vikings qb in the late 90's/2000's..you had one of the greatest ever catching balls from you...and that guy was the 2cnd best receiver on your team. How they lost in the 98 NFC championship game will be forever seared into the nightmares of Vikings fans.

I earned my first paycheck at old Metropolitan Stadium. The 75 game Hail Mary was awful. My view is Nate Wright jumped too early..and all the interference talk is a bit overblown. They completed a 4th and 15? right before that play,,,ouch. Maybe the best Viking team all around ever.

One has to wonder what CC's numbers might have looked like if he had been on a team that had consistent play at QB. During his eleven seasons in Minnesota, Carter played with eleven different starting quarterbacks, most of them either journeyman like Sean Salisbury or well past their prime like Warren Moon.

Tommy Adams and these 14 year olds have a bigger say in football than u otherwise he wouldnt have made this video. First two years, Odell has over 1000+ yards, he just finished his rookie years too. The highest receiving yards Cris had in a season was 1371 yards, Odell in his year had 1305 and this year has 1450. Odell is the GOAT WR stats speak for themselves

Cris wasn't the fastest player in the league. But he had the ability to catch every pass that was thrown to him. High, low, it didn't matter. This guy blew my mind when I was a kid, and is still my favorite player.

Randy was a physical specimen like no other he was the greatest raw talent receiver of all time and if he would of had the longevity of rice and the quarterbacks of rice he would have the stats to prove it too. Look at when he had Brady?? Shattered defenses and set the touchdown record he was unstoppable!! Look at the tape of Randy's good years and tell me I'm wrong

His style is what all of us based our receiving on in the late 90's and 2000's. This man is the greatest receiver of all time. I go by the sign " home of Chris Carter" multiple times a day in Middletown Ohio.

Hard to imagine havin CC n Moss on the field at the same time. I’m airin that thing all day. As far as wr tandems go they may have been the best ever. 2 HOF together at these position is gonna lead to issues tho. Maybe Rice and Brown are up there but both pretty old at the time. Roddy n Julio had a good run for a bit. Can’t think of anyone else on the Vikings level tho for that period

@@priestjones8781 great WRs for sure. Bruce and Holt shined together and I remember playin w/ em and Faulk in the NFL 2K game on PS2 back in the day. The other guys didn’t really tandem together in their peaks tho. Fitz and Quan for sure, but you think they’re on CC and Moss level? I don’t think they’re really even on Julio and Roddy level imo.
