That was a very sad movie, hard to watch. And I really don't remember the ending. Were they both at fault? Should she have given up her piano, been more patient and concentrated on her new life? Mabe, he would have giftet her with a new one later on. But should he have listened to her and not left her alone on her first day in that alien country? How does love grow?
I don't know. But I think you're listening and I'm trying to leave the piano alone. So I hope we'll find a better way.

Like I said. To me it seems to be part of flood land, it's her love for herself. That's why I suggested that maybe she should have left it behind to find love of God (love thine neighbour, her husband in this case). But I'm not sure, I'll think about it more. It's an interesting observation.
The problem remains that the husband is an abusive a*hole and they bring out the worst in each other. Maybe if they could both put their trust in God, they could then trust each other and it would work. Instead of testing each other all the time...
