I did have to tighten the pivot on mine a little after break-in but it's remained tight now for 1000's of deployments playing with it. Great knife and my daily carry now. It's a bit heavy but if you wear heavy jeans/pants it's no issue.

I've always thought that this knife with more premium scale options and blade finishes would sell better. I'd like something like an apocalyptic stonewash and brown Micarta... Maybe even with a titanium bolster and titanium XR lock buttons?
I edc the CRKT M16-14SFG Bigger blade then that sog, surprisingly light. End of the world I prefer a my big Kaos bowie or a pocket knife cold steel voyager XL 5 and half inch blade. Very easy to carry, surprisingly light, alot of blade. Both the knives mentioned are lighter and longer
Reminds me of the old Al Mar SERE knife, the original. Remember buying one at Fort Bragg back in the’80s. The way to go.
