YES! I am so sick of apartment videos people post where they live in million-dollar apartments. They legitimately just make me feel sad. It's honestly more inspiring to me to see someone like me who has a nice place that they are working on improving! Great video! I really enjoyed it! I subscribed :)
RIght?! Social media only portrays the best nicest places and it's like what about the 99% of us who just have regular places! Thanks so much for your support 😃hope you had a happy new years.
I follow this guy from Spain he shows his tiny room and his mess and I seen another UA-camr in Korea she has a small room as well but she does her videos in Korean with subtitles so I stop watching her since my sight it's getting bad. I like this kind of videos!!
Love this❤ quick tip if anybody doesn't know, wash your new sheets before putting them on your bed. Most new sheets will have some kind of residue or chemical dust left over from manufacturing, sometimes a type of starch will be added to them to keep them wrinkle free in packaging. Plus they may have general dust and debris that you can't easily see. Quick wash should get rid of this before using them 🙌
Thank you! We need more content like this! I am so over seeing perfection and I think we can all benefit from recognising things don't need to be 'perfect'.
I am LIVING for this! Thank you for being honest. I hate how in most videos, even clean up ones, people are clearly faking how their apartment looks. Specially small spaces. Clothes on the chair, random stuff on the floor, YESSS!! You just won a new subscriber. Also, love your fanart wall
Well my apartment is small, but it looks like no one lives in it and it's just a hotel room. Because I like it when there is no visual noise, if you know what I mean. Not all people throw clothes on chairs and random stuff on the floor. Many people feel comfortable with their space being clean, and they are honest about it. Ngl it makes me sad that many people in the comments said, if your apartment looks clean and aesthetically pleasing, then you are basically a liar.
You can actually pop microwave popcorn in your pan with the lid. Empty contents of the package into the pot and shake with lid on over medium heat-high heat. Remove when popping stops or sooner to keep from burning.
I already have a few ideas for things you can do to better utilize this space 1. A taller bed like loft: you will then open up a huge space for under the bed frame 2. An organizing rack inside your storage closet to stack things to rarely use, mildly use, often use 3. Your kitchen table, instead use a tiered cabinet with multiple shelf’s that could also have an extension during into a longer table. I’ll edit if I think of more tips! More haha * use more wall space for holding coffee cups, utensils holders etc * get a small or convertible chairs 🪑 instead of large regular chairs ex. Something collapsible * what you can do about your clothes “mess” get little fabric totes and place them on their side (opening facing you) and you will actually create stackable cubbies that you can then organize your clothes in
And all new clothes. I kid you not I was ALL of my new clothes, but 1 time I was too lazy too and I tried it on right away. The 1 time I didn't so I could just try them on first I was so freaking itchy!! Lesson learned and I was never lazy again after that 1 time.
I appreciate your honest content. So many of these videos are showy and unrealistic. They never tell you how they got it or how you can get it. Whether it’s saving for the down payment or taking out loans, or employer sponsored, just be transparent. So I really appreciate you sharing your details how you got there and then showing others🙏
Your apartment is adorable. Space savers are life savers in a small space. None of my closets came with shelves so i thrifted small plastic drawers/cart, boxes with lids and labeled them. Matching hangars and hanging clothes in size or color order will give it a chic look. Also you may be able to get away with hanging your bike up. My nephew lived in a 2 room apartment with wife and 3 kids and that’s what he did lol! All the best to you, you sweet girl!❤
Wow thanks for all the tips! I'm definitely in need for some closet solutions, there is just no space in there 😂I also will be parting with that bike soon so I am very relieved. Thanks again for your help and support! Hope you have an awesome day!
I really love this video as it is a realistic story telling in Korea, where a lot of people even don’t have a chance to go to,I can’t wait to see the next stage of your life! Cheers🎉
It’s not the space, it’s your style. I love tiny spaces and there is a whole community here dedicated to it. You got to live a bit more minimalistic and to get that trendy aesthetic look, you got to stop buying stuff that doesn’t coordinate e.g your new bed sheets. Or even things like, have you considered buying a daybed instead of that huge queen size bed?
She want the childish style (from the sheet) but she really need to lean on it to make it work. I see some Japanese girl rooms and their extreme childishness make the space work. Every single item in their space has some kind of animals or characters. Meanwhile a lot of her stuff look utilitarian.
I think the point of her content though is to NOT follow the aesthetic trends that are unrealistic and don't represent what is most people's realities 👍 Also, who wants to sleep on a day bed over a queen bed just because it might look better? Wouldn't be anywhere near as comfy.
Thank you for posting actual authentic content! Checking out your other videos and subscribing! Also, I know your apartment isn’t that big, but it’s nice that you have a place you can call home ❤
Thank you for this video. I’m considering moving to Seoul in the near future and was so sick and tired of seeing these influencers moving into these luxurious apartments. What’s funny is that they make it seem like you just need to come and rent out the apartment 😂 and never mentions the 20k deposit
You dont need a microwave for popcorn. You can cook it on stove. Just add some butter to your pan and throw in some seeds. Close the lid and wait till all of them pop. And it's done
I’ve watch so many korean organization/ cleaning vlogs that I was starting to believe all korean houses/ apts are ridiculously clean and tidy. Glad you shared this. Those cheese ramen are the best! 😊
Loved seeing this! It’s so realistic and literally looks like how my room looked a little while ago 😂 Basically your apartment looks lived in instead of like a picture in a magazine, haha! Magazine homes are pretty, but not all that livable
Dear Cat! Thank you a lot for this video, it is very refreshing to see the real apartment for a change. Also, you have such a nice and calming demeanor, I will add your channel to my rota :). Oh, please do wash the sheets (anything that you buy that you are gonna wear/will have contact with you skin, basically) before you use them; I once watched a documentary how dirty the factorys where the clothes and such are made in are and I always ALWAYS wash everything before I use it. I do LOVE your polar bear mug so much. Can not wait to watch more of your videos. Greetings, Aikaterina
Friendly suggestions: Always wash new items you will be putting in you skin or laying on. 2. Maybe you can try switching your closet to the other closet area by the window. Get a tension rod so you can hang more clothes.. and you can put away things in your suitcases. Then you can turn that close by the fridge t into your pantry area to store the rice and other groceries
girllll i love this so much! ive been putting off an apartment tour video for almost 2 YEARS because i never thought it looked good enough but you're right. maybe i should just do it as it is :')
I love this. I understand beautiful things are nice to look it, and sometimes it makes life more interesting to romanticize the mundane but the obsession with "aesthetic" can lead people to become kinda disillusioned with real life and unhappy with what's perfectly normal.
Amazing intro & editing ☺️ thanks for the reminder to not be stressed about making everything ‘perfect’. Excited for your new experiences! All the best, Ruby (girly still in accounting in Canada hehe)
Thanks for sharing a tour of your private space and a true view of how life can be. I appreciate how simple and clean it is! Helps me declutter my brain. Yes you have a nice view.
Loved this! It’s so real and I find you so cute and charming! Watching you is such a delight! Thanks for making my morning with this real and relatable video ❤
you might be able to fit drawers or bins in the bottom half of the closet! i would personally do plastic lidded bins bc i think that would be most efficient for the space, but if you don't like the idea of having to take them out each time i think drawers would be good. i think stationery or kids storage drawers would be narrow enough maybe?
Loved the video, can't wait to see more of this new chapter in your life, love relatable content like this, it's always so nice to see that there are people living similarily all over the world
You could get bed risers and a bed skirt then use the space under the bed for storage. Also some small curtains with a tension rod would help the visual clutter of the bookcases, love the authenticity though! I live in a furnished apartment in Istanbul and so many things are not my taste, it’s been an exercise in learning to reduce my expectations and focus only on the things that are mentally distracting not aesthetically so.
You can pop your pop corn in a skillet on the stove. Just open the pack scrape the contents into your pan. Turn the burner on pretty high and scoot the pan around constantly until it pops.
I love this bc I was just thinking how so many of those super aesthetic apartments are so fake and it's impossible for people to always keep them looking perfect. This video is 9 months old so idk of any of these apply anymore but as someone older who has lived alone in various small spaces and such here's some recommendations: 1)When you store your spoons, forks, chopsticks etc you are supposed to put the side that you put into your mouth facing outside so the opposite of how you stored them in those cups. This is bc of germs and bacteria 2) This one is silly but I would turn the cup tree a bit so the cup that you use the most is easier to grab/put back 3) Dont store your soy sauce or any food with the cleaning supplies and I would also try and find a different spot for the rice container that is not so directly on the floor
this was actually very refreshing to see. it was cute and inspiring and you actually gave me a good idea about getting a coffee mug tree for my office area. it was just one of those things i never thought of until seeing this video. thank you for sharing.
I loved your video. New subscriber here! The only recommendation I can offer, and please don’t take it as me telling you what to do, is to wash those sheets before using them. Production often makes sheets and clothing unclean and shipping and delivery as well so it’s best to wash before use. Still, you should be just fine either way ❤
Thank you so much for the encouraging words! I feel you! It's such a struggle wishing my life away to be something it's not so I'm working on the gratitude! Thanks again and have an awesome day
Literally my FAVORITE APARTMENT TOUR EVER!!! 🥰🥰👍❤ Favorite scene is the eye roll after dumping off the garbage outside...I fell in love with this channel right then, because I FELT that eyeroll in my heart, lol 😆 Deeply relate, it's how I feel everytime I'm tripping over crap in my house 👍🥰 BONUS: your video didn't leave me guilty/ depressed for how messed up my life is compared to all the perfectly composed appt videos I've been watching from other creators 😮❤
Obsessed with those wall-hanging baskets by your kitchen. I feel like I would have them EVERYWHERE. You can have so much in so little space if you wisely use your wall space with shelves and hooks and baskets like that.
This apartment honestly has potential, you'd just need a few more containers as another commentor already kindly said and a few shelfs / tension rods. The "pantry" behind the metal door for example could be utilised a lot better with a shelf in it, some hooks on the wall and tension tods to hang stuff from. Having said all that, please don't feel pressured to do it all at once, it's best to start with one space and kinda figure it out and see what worked and what didn't. Signed, the woman who needed a year to declutter and reorganise a single basement room. Now with shelves 😂
Actually you have a great space, and making/having apartments look more expensive then they really are isn’t that hard not that expensive if you’re into that. Ultimately the most important thing about one’s apartment or house, is that it feels like home.
Don’t reveal too much details in the video about where you live girl 😢 someone might recognize via the elevator or surrounding … love your videos anyway! Wish you all the best in Seoul! 🎉
@@Foreveryc97 I was gonna mention this too. I might just be a tad paranoid about stuff like this, I don't have many subs either and I only post art but I still got a couple odballs. You never know when you're gonna pop up on the radar (I can't imagine you won't, you're so sweet and I like your style) keep safe!
Hi there nice work ❤ I have an idea, you can a shelf stare or cabin etc and get baskets 🧺 and put your cleaning stuff in it to have space under the sink for more cooking pans or whatever. Also I use the freg for snacks and coffee to save space. Vertical space is everything In narrow places. Remember , you can be happy 😃 wherever you are. Stay safe and good luck ❤
Actually yes… i love this!!! I hate seeing “seoul apartment tours” and like this oversized, light pouring in at all sides, space galore video and im like well new comers will have a hella time adjusting to the real apartments lol
i feel very at home watching this video! my fav korean ytber is ondo and i never really found another one that makes me feel the same until i found this vid.
Oh woww this is such high praise - I am not worthy ! Thanks so much for the encouraging words, I will try my best to continue the vibes. Hope you had a good new years 🤗 take care!
+1 subscribed and hopefully that luxurious apartment is yours one day, rooting for you! Honest feedback, thought the third person narrating from start to 1:30 was super cute and reminded me of Disney Pixar / how to train your dragon vibes. May be a winning formula to expand on!😊
Drove past these kind of apartments last week and wondered how it is inside. Thanks for sharing. For easier cleaning I suggest a stick vacuum great for small spaces :)
Nice place You have there. Lots of storage and it shows that's being used constantly for your needs. I did noticed that for all the storage available you still have too many things. And that's making it feel smaller than it really is.
I love watching your reality life. It’s real not those heavy production videos of life in Tokyo. I swear they’re fake Good for you. Enjoy and best wishes!!! 😊🙏🍀
Hello from India ! Happen to come across your vlog and found it to be very real and relatable...have subscribed now! You are the fourth Korean UA-camr whom I am following now 😊😊
I am planning to move to South Korea in 2026 and I cannot wait to get my own apartment in Metro Seoul. The life of living over there would definitely be a lot better than living on my own here in USA since cost of housing is so expensive and that the economy over there is more stable. I am also currently learning Korean and so wish me luck to the future and to be welcomed to South Korea!
if you don't like the look of the shelves/having your stuff exposed - you can put lil curtains to cover the inside! easy DIY to add to the small space. c:
Really a breath of fresh air to finally see a normal apartment. But please say that you washed those sheets before sleeping in them, they should always be washed before use and especially when ordered from a place like Temu and the like... 😬
Great video. One thing that I wonder…you have a lot of unused space on the walls - above your table and shelf that’s begging to be used for storage. Are you allowed to put up any type of shelving on the walls? Or maybe put a “hutch” type thing on top of the shelf if you can afford it and if there is something available to purchase?

At times it just makes you feel bad about your own situation, doesn't it? Thank God! I'm not the only one. 😊
Does someone know what the song is called at 2:57? Thank you :D

They have formaldehyde on them. Very toxic! Definitely need to be washed and a hot long wash is best.
Totally agree, especially when coming from China
Yes! And they feel so itchy/scratchy usually if you don't wash first. Not to mention they'll smell much fresher after a wash ❤️
Same with clothes as well. You should wash new things first before using them.
I was literally screaming at my phone. I can't believe you have to say THAT to some people. Wash your stuff, jeez. 😂
It's rare for people to show their true self 😢 but ur video makes me really appreciate my mundane life 🎉 thank you ❤

To make the most of the closet space, get a locker divider/shelves. It’ll give you so much more room and organization.
I love the realness of this vid. ❤ It's too much pressure to keep everything organized and pristine in videos.
Girl you are so charismatic I watched the all things as if it was just 2 min I love it
i love the realness in this video!
Production quality on point! Seems like such a cozy space
These are the words I strive to hear from a production master. Appreciate the support sensei 😎🤗
I came across this video and gave it a try to watch. I like the authenticity of it, this is us, the normal people! I love it! New subscriber here!
Thank you for the comment and the support! 😀
Loved this! It’s so real and I find you so cute and charming! Watching you is such a delight! Thanks for making my morning with this real and relatable video ❤
I'm now a subscriber because you aren't making life seem more than it is. Love it. Stay healthy, be happy and stay safe always.

heated floors and washer-in kitchen? mind blown. Glad you're making your place a home now
Haha yeah definately trying my best! 😂
You have a fun personality. I’m glad I found you.
I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet, but under the bed rolling storage containers would give you some more organizing space. Loved this video.❤
Loved the video, can't wait to see more of this new chapter in your life, love relatable content like this, it's always so nice to see that there are people living similarily all over the world
I love it ❤ i love you almost make ur apartment AESTHETIC ✨ but remembers that it is better to live in reality, sometimes messy and not so perfect❤❤❤
This was so honest and I respect you so much for that 🙌💖
You could get bed risers and a bed skirt then use the space under the bed for storage.
I just wanna say I love how real and authentic you seem haha. Loved your tour (and seeing a standard korean apartment) 👏😌

Cute place, realistic portrayal. Just add some wall art & candles.
I just discovered your channel and have already subscribed, I really like the vibe that these videos bring, especially the feeling of comfort 🤩🤩🤩

You have everything you really need, more than many NYC apartments.
Not the chopsticks going into the fork/knife glass and vice-versa 😭 very cute and cozy video though)

I also want her videos and also plan D videos. This one is also good 👍.
Your little apartment is cute. You are so real. Enjoyed your video.
Fricking love this! Bring on the REAL!!
Love the idea of washing machine below the stove ☺
+1 subscribed and hopefully that luxurious apartment is yours one day, rooting for you! Honest feedback, thought the third person narrating from start to 1:30 was super cute and reminded me of Disney Pixar / how to train your dragon vibes. May be a winning formula to expand on!😊
I love the blue bed cover/sheet!
Drove past these kind of apartments last week and wondered how it is inside. Thanks for sharing. For easier cleaning I suggest a stick vacuum great for small spaces :)
I love your reality~~~cozy home, hun! Love it! More plz
I loove your storage containers!!!
need more real video like this
Ok I love this omg 😍 thank you for letting us see!!!
Nice place You have there. Lots of storage and it shows that's being used constantly for your needs. I did noticed that for all the storage available you still have too many things. And that's making it feel smaller than it really is.
This is sooo real and I LOVE IT!!!...
I love how realistic this video is!
Haha thank you! glad you enjoyed
Very realistic. Thankyou for making video like this❤
thank you for being real
I love this kinda content :) it’s nice to be able to relate! I live in nyc so I understand the condensed space.
Finally! love this
You're so so adorable, I enjoyed this video more than I thought I would be.
Very exciting for your next vlog 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾.
Coming from a long time lifestyle vlog viewer - thank you thank you!! Liked and subscribed!
if you don't like the look of the shelves/having your stuff exposed - you can put lil curtains to cover the inside! easy DIY to add to the small space. c:
Loved it. Use that shelving as a room divider. ❤
Cute little tour! The red Jin ramen is my fav
Hahah thank you :) and I actually think I agree
Really a breath of fresh air to finally see a normal apartment. But please say that you washed those sheets before sleeping in them, they should always be washed before use and especially when ordered from a place like Temu and the like... 😬
hi I'm from Indonesia, I love your video! keep going!
"the truth" is super cute
Haha honestly didn't know what else to say to entice people, thank you! hope you have an awesome day as well!
Omg THIS IS SO REALISTIC I LOVE THISSSSSS! instant subscribe ❤😂
Go with blue , second choice is green ❤❤
Beautiful video! Love the transparency…my only concern is you take time to research where you shop online. Stay safe!
