I was at this game. Upper portion of stadium opened up for the extra fans. It was about 70 percent Dodger fans in Oakland.

Almost every ball park in the country has an increase of fans attending when The Dodgers are in town. Oakland is averaging about less than 9k every other day. 35000 last night at Oakland 😂

Once Ohtani started stumbling, he should have given up on the idea of tagging to 3rd and gone back to 2nd. With his back to the throw he couldn't know it was going to be off line and the stumble would have made all the difference between being safe and being out. It's not easy advancing from 2nd on a ball to medium center field and when you add in a stumble it's almost impossible. The only thing that saved Ohtani here is that the throw was off line but more times than not, that throw is online so Ohtani was bucking the odds here.
