Nice video...thanks for sharing with us. I have a question...I do model railroad layouts and dioramas...some recently with agriculture themes/grain elevators..etc. what are the long yellow rails above the grain cars that I see more frequently? What do they do?
It is fall protection for the loader's that are opening and closing the top doors.

@@epiccsx If you model any elevator from the last 25 years you should include this detail. An easy way of modeling this is to simply glue an I-beam to the bottom of the support arms directly over the center line of the track. If the track on your loading area is curved you’ll need more supports.

Yeah what he said, we get tethered to it via cable, so we can open and close grain car lids in a timely fashion, you don't leave the top of the car
