Murder season in China is a real thing and it’s absolutely insane. Every once in a while you get a two or three month period where people go on stabbing and driving rampages. It happens every 6-9 months and lasts about a month. It’s remarkably consistent and insane.

For those unaware, China *does* have a form of ban on knives. Pocket knives are banned, and kitchen knives are required to be chained to the kitchen counter to prevent them from being carried in public.... For all the good it does.
