Traditionally in my area, you make a clay chicken to sit on top of the oven....why? no one remembers why.
Liziqi watched a video on how to make an oven in general, the design she came up with is her own. Her oven is of her late dog called "guo gai" and she wrote the name of the dog on her oven as well. This girls' design is a cat but looks very similar to Liziqi's, but still......

sad that people forget Liziqi is very serious about spreading ancient Chinese culture....she would be the first to admit what she does has been done by millions of people for hundreds of thousands of years. Love seeing this version! Amazing work.
Liziqi is evidently the inspiration but I would like to say.... they made it. A team working together spending quality time together. And whilst I have my own dreams of making this one day I haven't yet so hats off to them nice job on the detail as well.
I have loads of respect for this young woman. Loads. It is ok occasionally to disagree with a comment in yt. It takes nothing away from her. It is very obvious how accomplished and talented she is! I have even called her the Chinese Martha Stewart! I think Lizi/qi is even better! So don't think I down her, I'm not. You must lighten up and laugh more or something. You tube is a tough place and I was not tough at all.

For heat, my parents been using broken glasses to make oven when i was little broken glasses better because it can covers around the oven, more glasses more heat

The Bottles: From what I can gather, the bottles are there in the bottom to disperse heat evenly. It would seem so since the open end is down. Placed like they are it would seem likely that no matter where the burning wood was located, the heat would disperse evenly up to the oven via the bottles & surrounding material (sand? concrete? cement?) The bottles on the side seem to be there to do the same thing (absorb heat and keep the oven warm longer) AND to lessen the thickness of the clay around the outside. The thicker the walls are the more they would crack & craze due to the expansion and contraction of the material when it heats and cools which is common for cob/clay ovens. I'm just guessing here but it seems this way to me.
Man Liziqi did hers on her own this one had a whole team. I think both did very good though. Other people should really stop trying to shame this group because they did not do it alone. Team work is important too, alot people can't get that.

I think Lizqi got the idea somewhere else as well, in the beginning of her video you see her taking notes from a some other UA-cam. The cat theme though might be totally Lizqi, and these people gave her the ultimate compliment by copying it end embellishing on the design . I think they are both great :)
Some people in the comments section keep saying Liziqi made it all by herself, and this video required several people...So what? Liziqi is amazing and very inspiring. However, if you have friends or family around, why not do it together? They look like they had fun and now they can enjoy the oven together :)

Whoever was wondering why they added glass bottles, here is what Google told me “The purpose of the glass bottles is to form pockets of air between the oven floor and the stone base; when the adobe in the insulating layer dries, the air pockets will remain, regardless of what happens to the glass.”

The top part is not important, the two layers of empltied glass beer bottles are important, some how it would retain enough heat for baking.

我之前是在李子柒的视频中，第一次见识到窯烤炉，之前还真不知中国农村有这玩意儿，还能烤出面包(^▽^)觉得挺新鲜的，非常佩服中国先辈们的善巧智慧，上述视频中做的窯烤，确实比子柒的还要专业，但也不失传统，超赞的！
子柒是參考台灣樸門的亞曼老師的影片製作的，子柒的影片裡面有出現部分片段，但並沒有註明出處

To strengthen the cat's face/oven and transfer the heat evenly. That's why they put bottles.

煙囪孔徑未免預留太小了 排煙效果肯定差了些。雖然搞得工程很大，可是成品少了點美感與人的溫度。還是李子柒的窯可愛實用簡約。

背後有團隊，這點李子柒自己再後來出席2019的中國網路紅人節目有說到，況且要知道那種影片的精緻程度本來就很難是一個人完成，在影片裡面李子柒是主角，那些相關的烹調與過程，李子柒也是要花很多時間長達幾個月半年的去跟團隊討論才能拍成，否則為何一個月只能發一支片，而不是密集發片，觀眾喜歡的就是有質感的那種感覺，好的影片本來就需要長遠的規劃跟製作，那些說李子柒都一個人的，看不到鏡頭背後的辛苦工作人員，跟盲目追求偶像的偶像粉無異

如果不用水泥直接鋪磚塊可以嗎？
烤爐外表在糊上一層水泥~是防貓去抓(因烤肉等很香)或颱風來會雨打，至於呼吸~上2耳朶就是烟囱，地基用水泥和磚是整平地沒錯，磚燒不會爆裂。

六磚半見方，高也約六磚半，這樣，23*6+11=149+6=155平方公分底面積，全磚造可放材薪約八百塊紅磚。
我还是觉得李子柒的比较好。无他，就是简简单单一个小女生自己就搞定了。相比之下这个动员了那么多人做出来的并没有太多的与众不同或者惊喜。不过还是应该称赞一下个中的不容易。
