Even though it was small, we had a great time. As I mentioned before, it was great to get to meet you there, Mike. Hope that ATAS you were testing is still working for you. After we talked, it motivated me to come home and diagnose why mine had stopped working. It was completely corroded inside and rusty… I cleaned the circuit board the best I could, but I am pretty sure the motor is dead.
Good to meet you too. I had a lot of fun at the fest. I gave up on the ATAS. My Tarheel works so well it's not even worth me fussing with the ATAS. Too bad about yours. My buddy is selling the one I have so if you're interested let me know. I have no idea what he wants for it though.
A local club (Fair Lawn ARC, NJ) is having their second ham fest this year. Watching all this footage the last two weeks has me very excited!

Good to know. My friends just moved to Baytown this year. We are going to visit in July. I’m kind of spoiled living in Huntsville Al with our indoor hamfest. Hope to see you again this year in Huntsville.

man i miss hamfest here in north east georgia nothing! in georgia rest of year according to the arrl hamfest list would have to travel alooong way to go to a small to medium HF even the Atlanta area is dead rest of this year..73s all
I didn't know there was a hamfest in Baytown. There is the Tidelands Texas City Hamfest in July 2023 and the Greater Houston Hamfest resuming in March of 2023.
I can't wait for the Houston Ham Fest. Too bad they canceled it this year.

Atas-100 = issues. Atas -120A was much better with resisting water intrusion.
They should have chosen a building with a lower ceiling to host the Hamfest in. That ceiling was far too high at about 4m: Almost touch the ceiling with your arms stretched up. No wonder it smelled!!!
