thanks for the video! going for lone hero at the moment but EO is next... i assume the process of solo-leveling aetherpool would be the same in there as here?
The process is much the same but it's worth noting that the process in EO is a bit harder than in HoH because of the fast respawn rates on the lower levels, they can be annoying for non-DPS classes even at high aetherpool. The bosses can also be harder for some classes without sustaining potions. Angelus might have some views on the best classes to do it, if you have them all unlocked
@@jenswaring1682 i have noticed the respawn rates feel very fast + mobs just feel like sponges and die so slowly. i was planning to climb on mch or war but have all classes at 90 so could do any.
@jenswaring1682 nailed a lot of it! EO will one I'll tackle post Dawntrail Release just in case things change around. It's a lot more trickier there because DPS have a pretty big disadvantage vs the amount of damage being put out by enemies like the Floor 10 Boss without having any Eureka Potions/Regen Potions. This is something I'd want to try myself first before I offer any solid info, but when I did the Cloud Server for EO, I had run WAR exclusively to level my Arm/Armor Solo due to it's self healing and being able to AoE pull without much need of help. Healers & Tanks will be the best to try to solo EO for Aetherpool if you start from scratch by far. I'd also recommend no lower than 75~ for a solo run for the title. I had tried to go 65~ on my own blind attempt, sorta using my previous info for HoH & PoTD and I did not like the experience one bit haha. With that said, putting aside starting from 0 Aetherpool/"I just unlocked EO", F21-30 is your farm location as it works just like HoH with the F30 boss giving you +1/+1 and a fragment for regen potions!
So I had gotten lucky and stumbled into a group that helped me get a floor 30 clear. But after that I've tried farming aetherpool and I hit a wall. My current aetherpool is 20 arm/15 armor. I'm not strong enough to beat the floor 30 boss solo, so I can't save my aetherpool upgrades when I run 21-30. But if I start from floor 1, my current aetherpool won't upgrade when I open silver chests. At a loss of what to do.
What job are you attempting this as? From my experience, I've been pretty comfy on any job for F21-30, even with aetherpool that low. Generally when you work towards the boss, you'd want to have str and steel and Frailty too if its a bit of an issue, and if you save some magicites you may pick up you'll deal a massive amount of damage to the boss, so you can kill it much quicker. The boss itself wont do too much damage provided you do all the mechanics, and if thats what is holding you back I can certainly go over how to get through o/.
@@Angelusdemonus I've been doing my runs with MCH, since I've always heard people swear by it being the best class for deep dungeons. Also just now I attempted a run starting from floor 1, figuring it might be easier to try 1-10 instead of 21-30. Only to get killed on floor 4 :( Not quite sure what happened. Two shark mobs snuck up behind me at the same time and then instantly I went from full HP to zero in one second. Was very discouraging
@@TheValiantBob Those sneaky patrols! What I definitely recommend is taking the time to kill anything that moves as you go through the floors. Getting ganged up on can be certain death especially when you are semi new to the climbs. Many of the enemies will die very fast, especially if you have a pomander of STR on. Usually in like a Reassemble Drill or 2-3 GCDs, so just cleaning house will keep things safe. Also be sure to kill everything in a room before going to the next just in case a trap gets you. MCH is definitely great, although for HoH, tanks are more popular for many. I loved the MCH run personally!
