hey Brother so if i am understanding this right. it will draw the Coolant now from the bottom port as in gravity fed now no more straw ? but my question is this the top port by the cap is there not any risk of the pressure like if she gets hot spraying out coolant from that port? and if there is the possibility of it then what did you do to prevent that from spraying all over the engine bay??
michael penna Correct it will draw from the bottom. In the event that it does reach an over flow condition I have a hose on the end of that spout routed through the inner fender and famed down to the frame , pointed Dow towards the ground.
@@mooremaceo That’s fine and it will serve the purpose of not getting coolant everywhere. If you’re wanting to return that coolant back into the system then you’d want to run a setup like mine. Not saying that you have to use the same things as I did , but set up something similar.
@@PatinaCode i drive a Shelby daytona and the heater hoses are higher than the moroso expansion tank, im getting air in them. Im planning on putting an inline filler neck with a radiator cap on the heater hose and connecting it to a overflow that is vented to atmosphere. Then just filling the expansion tank up so there is no air in the system.
Best video on the topic I have found. Thank you.
Thank you . I’m glad that this helped you out. 🤘🏽
Great job on the video man.

sebeck 1 Glad that it helped you . Thanks for letting me know . 👍🏽
GREAT INFO....MOPAR for EVER...!
Thank you . Glad the video was a help to you.
Do you add any fluids when your using this as an overflow tank?
or should it be empty
I added about 1/4 of the tank full with antifreeze .
What if the Radiator doesn't have a pressure port?
Good question. I’m not sure what you would do in that situation. I only have experience with the traditional type radiator.
Sorry I couldn’t help.

@@PatinaCode sweet! i got ya now it makes sense to me i was confused for a bit lol
michael penna That’s a good observation. I did forget to mention that step in the video.
@@PatinaCode I’ve seen others just ad another overflow tank to it to prevent spraying everywhere, is that legit?
