when you hold down the start button to cancel a wash, do not power it off unless u are selecting another load right away. when holding down the button it also starts a drain cycle to get rid of the water that may be in your washer if you where running a load. to do this just hold down the start button for 3 seconds after you open it and close the door afterwards. or at least that's how mine works
When I finished the cicle it has water at the end, I have to press cancel and drain,and then the water goes away.. I don’t know if is happening to you…???
It’s the drying fan in the upper right corner on the door, the fan stays on even after the cycle is done and clean light is on, it turns off on its own after a few, hope that helps

@@KevinJamesBooker I found out what it was and my research says that the icon is for signaling when you’re dishwasher is out of “rinse-aid” which is needed for it to run. It can’t activate without it apparently so when the light is on, you need to refill it with rinse-aid.
If you open the door during a wash cycle do you need to press start again before you close the door to restart the cycle? Or will it start automatically once the door is closed? If you need to press start, that is an important fact to tell you viewers. Cheers, Tom

check first that there is an electrical cord leading from the dishwasher under your sink somewhere, makes sure its either plugged in (some have a plug) or that it is wired directly to a junction box. there may also be a switch which turns the dishwasher on or off under the sink. Those are the minimum steps I can think of .
Mine won’t cancel. It sounds like alien it’s running and trying to run but it will do nothing. The cancel button won’t work and it’s not lock. Brand new dishwasher

Does yours have a mechanism to catch the latch? Mine will close but opens slightly and water gets out. Also can open mine while it’s running. 😮
