6:55 are you currently driving it on sport mode? Im getting my 240i this upcoming Monday and Im planning on getting a downpipe and stage 2 but I don’t want it to be too loud , I want it to be quite on eco and crazy loud like yours on sports +
Congrats on getting the car! And yeah it was in sport+ that whole video, catless downpipe and dual mid muffler delete is the best. Quiet in comfort and LOUD when you get on it
I have an S3. I really considered the M240i. The B58 is an amazing engine. The 2 series is actually perfect size for me haha. I wish these came with sport seats like the S3. Too nice to have those regular seats
Yeah I wish it did come with more sporty seats although it’s not a real M it’s still an “M”240i lmao but honestly had I got a S3 instead of my golf R before would probably have never known or gotten into this platform lol S3 is beautiful tbh
It seems that a lot of you guys in the USA are saying BMW’s are unreliable. I’ve had a bunch of BMW’s and none of them has never broken down on me. And I’ve never seen a BMW broken down on the freeway or on any other roads in the uk, or in any other European countries. Maybe the Germans only send all the bad ones to the USA! 🤣😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
Stage 1 tune you can do completely stock, I went straight to stage 2 because I already had a cat less downpipe but if you don’t have or don’t want to buy a downpipe yet stage 1 tune is definitely still a nice way to squeeze more power out with very little to no mods
@@DS_M550 That's good to know cheers mate. I think if I can do them separately I'll do the stage 1 first.. paying off a house and married with 2 kids, and child support to my ex makes things hard.
@@john.connor1 yeah bro all things on your own time! The good thing is it costs very little to mod these cars and get good power! And if you buy the MHD license you’ll have access to stage 1, 2 and 2+ tunes so only gotta buy the tune once!
Currently have a 2010 Cobalt Ss fbo custom tune and seriously been considering getting a f series m240i. Either that or a mustang gt. What are your thoughts?
I have never driven a mustang so I really don’t know much about them BUT as fast as the M240 it has been a great car like almost perfect. It is very easy and cheap to get extra power out of it compared to most other cars on the road so for me was easy to pick the M240i
Man idk what issues I didn’t run into, my turbo was about to fail, boost leak, clutch slipping even on a stage 3 upgraded clutch, charcoal canister got replaced, low pressure fuel pump replaced twice, had to replace my gas tank and purge valve, my control arms went out a week after I bought it, it was like never ending and I had the car for 11 months and for 6 months total it was at the dealership for service
@@DS_M550 yoo that's wild. You got me scared of my s3. It's my daily driver so I really don't plan on tuning it so hopefully it doesn't fall apart on me.
@@blackf2212 nah I honestly think I just got a bad one cause those EA888 is a pretty good engine you should be good bro but that’s the crazy part is mine was completely stock the whole time
@@DS_M550 Yeah the engine is definitely a tank, the issue is everything else around it lol. One thing I have noticed though is Volkswagen/Audi tunes are crazy. I've seen so many stage 1 tunes that promise 100 + HP. That cannot be safe.
What kind of issues you having?? It’s tough learning manual in general and sometimes can feel defeating but just take it easy you’ll get the hang of it the more you drive it
Yeah I haven’t been on a dyno but I’m sure if plenty of other people with same car same mods and tune are hitting those numbers I can say I’m at relatively the same numbers lmao

Quality vid bro! Can’t wait to get one soon hopefully
Thank you bro! You will love the car whenever you do get one!
Fire video my boy‼️
Appreciate you bro 🙏🏽
What's involved in the stage 1 tune? Do you recommend going to stage 1 first? I'm getting mine in a week or two, can't wait man. John from down Under

@@DS_M550 thanks mate, also the interior of the m240i seems to be much higher quality then the s550 mustang.
Oh yeah I forgot about that but BMW definitely tops the mustang interior BMW feels more luxurious while still being sporty
Roof wrap goes hard💪🏼
My guyy appreciate you bruh 🙏🏽 watch your stuff all the time lmao

Nice vid :) still on stock transmission besides xhp?
Thank you bro! And yeah still stock transmission! The xHP honestly makes a world of a difference!
What rims are those? Looking damn good
Thank you bro! The fronts are stock rims and the backs are the Apex Arc 8’s, much lighter wheels and wider to try and get the most grip
I have manual m240i and yea i have issues but prolly cuz im new to manual n prolly fucking it up

If you didnt dyno, you don't know if it's 500HP.
Yeah I haven’t been on a dyno but I’m sure if plenty of other people with same car same mods and tune are hitting those numbers I can say I’m at relatively the same numbers lmao
The BM3 and mhd OTS maps have all been dynoed. The BM3 OTS e50 makes right at 500
A stage 3 is 465
All Fchassis are 6 port, pop your bonnet lol
