I think President Trump is exhausted mentally after this horrific incident. God is changing him. I saw it too. I pray everyday that he comes to know the Lord intimately. I’m so grateful to the Lord that our great president is with us.

Trump appeared maybe humbled but more relieved, like a burden has been lifted. He realized the fight isn't just from him but all Americans are right in the trenches along side with the good lord leading the battle. And he knows that we are winning. I think it finally became crystal clear to Trump (and the world) that his supporters sincerely and deeply care about him and his well being after he was shot. Attendees don’t just attend so they can later brag about seeing him. Much as a parent would never forsake their child under fire, Trump’s supporters all stayed, frozen in place, hoping and praying that he was ok-even forsaking concern over their own well being. They didn’t run as would be a natural instinct.
That’s when I think it became real to him. He doesn’t need to try to impress anyone. He won most of us over a long time ago. We’re in this mission of God together now, with him as our leader, no matter what, come hell or high water. Period. And it touched him. Quite humbling. Quite amazing.

He also approved the abortion pill (not birth control pills) in latest GOP platform, not sure about same sex marriage.
His spiritual teacher Paula White is a charismatic false teacher, who may not have taught him the tenet of Christian faith, that, we're all sinners-even in thought-since Adam & Eve. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Trinity: the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus was never Satan's brother. Our salvation, washing away the sin, is only possible because Jesus' blood wash away our sin. Bible is the only truth, God's inspired word.

From the first night he walked in I thought he looked different. Softer maybe? Definitely more humble? It was in his eyes, on his face, every night while listening to everyone else speak. That soft smile on his face was definitely different.

Um, yeah. He hasn't changed for the worst. He didn't come out the other side of this bitter, cynical, looking to blame or enact revenge. I'm not sure why him being changed from this incident should impact whether or not I would support him as President. Why would I go from supporting him before the attempt on his life to not supporting him after just bc he looks a bit more humbled?

um, no not really. I wasn't necessarily ever attracted to Trump's personality. I didn't vote for him in 2016 because I thought it was a joke & the US wouldn't be taken seriously. But then he had some pretty good policies, has shown that he really actually cares about the country, cares about people. I started to see him as funny, direct, blunt even. I liked that he called out the media lies. But my support of Trump has had less to do w bravado & more to do w what he's shown he's prepared to do for this country.

I was 5 when JFK was assassinated. I remember my Mom watching the report on TV on our black and white TV of Walter Cronkite reporting of his death. While THANK GOD President Trump was not killed, I now know EXACTLY how my Mom felt as she cried her heart out. This convention was absolutely phenomenal! We talked about the things that were wrong with America what we care about what we're fighting for keep America America! And Trump was absolutely wonderful. I can tell all of the prayers that we've been sending him have been working he is a humbled man and I am just so excited For the first time and I'm 63 years old I loved watching the convention I even made it through the whole program.

I don’t believe it’s a better version of Trump. I believe it’s a revelation of the side of Trump he never let anyone buy those closest to him, see.
What we saw was a man who shared with us, his deep understanding of the fact that he was not in control of his own life. His serenity comes from his knowing and understanding that God is in control and, it’s ok, because unlike all the people who betrayed him, God’s got his back Trump was definitely shown this.
That’s the humility we saw, the humility that comes from knowing God’s love.

I heard Trump throw Project 2025 under the bus recently when he said that he was not with Project 2025, did not know much about them, and found some of their proposals, dismal. One of the little moments during President Trump's speech, was when he said "I will never, ever let you down" There was a sincerity in his voice. He looked straight into the camera as well. Like he was talking to the whole country, and not just the crowd in front of him. To me that was very telling.

Yes, I said the same thing. The BEST convention I have EVER SEEN BEFORE. I don’t usually watch them in their entirety but instead just catch the highlights the next day. Not this time I watched from beginning to the end each night. It was like being at a church revival. I absolutely loved every moment!

Trumps voice was much softer, focused and very deliberate. He didn't have the arm pumping as much and his demeanor was not the usual brash-like talking. I saw a very humble man who has faced the brush with death and now more contemplated.
