Just as a tip from my own messing around before, Edge works super well on the Quest 2, and setting it as your default browser lets you use web logins for games you might install (since the default Browser on the Quest 2 doesn't let you do web logins for other apps, it seems.)

@@Inkist I think now you can just download the mods from the game itself not sure haven't played in a bit but before you would just go to the browser in the headset go to the nexus mod website I think it was and download the mods you want then put them into a mods folder within the blade and sorcery directory. All you'd need is a file explorer app side loaded on to the headset and now you can do this wirelessly with sidequests new app

I would like to see a series on thing that will help me to get the most out of my quest 2 which I just received from oculus a couple of days ago. Thanks.

I’ve done this 3 times and it never lets me connect to my pc, side quest always says that I’m not connected and it never asks me if I want to connect on my oculus. I’m in developer mode yet it acts as if I’m not.
I just got my quest 2 and it looks like there is a horizontal line of "dead" pixels that seem to don't show the right colors, it's on both lenses in the same line so I see it when I close the right eye and look through the left lense and vice versa, do I have to send it back? :(

Mysticle! You talking about how much fun you had playing Demo it kept on reminding me of an old school video game and I figured it out. And it also would make an awesome VR game. It is called The Quest for the Rings (1981 Odyssey 2). I had hours and hours of endless play with this game the entire concept is incredible. Please take a look at it. Tell someone who makes VR games. I thought that you would be very interested in this game. It is old but the concept id gold.
Lol VERY old... :) I remember the Odyssey 2, you used to be able to buy it at Western Auto stores.... Yes, it was an "auto store" but they sold household appliances, tv's, etc... It was the precursor to what Wal-Mart would become; of course there are no more Western Auto stores in the U.S. that I know of... However, I think Pick Axe Pete would be a better Odyssey 2 game to VR... :) I enjoyed that one much more...
Call me Young but old fashioned I think I'll just use side quest to install things still. I can see where someone would need this though and as an (almost) IT guy I find it interesting.
Since App Lab I haven't really used sidequest to install anything. Some things like the id software games have to be installed the "old fashioned way" but since I have them already it hasn't been an issue lol.

I am following and I am not sure if anyone can HELP! Great video so far! I cannot find the screen that you introduce at 3:30 of your video. I have a web page open for Sidequest but it does not have the same format and no tool bar up top to import the apk file. Has this changed in recent times or am I overlooking something silly or obvious?
@@Kizimoz Yes I figured it out - you need to download the advanced installer instead of the Beginner installer of Sidequest. Then you are should be sorted ....
well on phones this is done with specific apps, like samsung's "Dual Messenger" but this wont allow every application I forced "Dual Messenger" in the past to work with non supported apps, this is done via ADB And when you do that it is quite visible that it basically adds a second user in the background Thus I guess it would possible on the quest as well, only issue is that it requires access to the apk file you want to install a second time which you could generate with an app like "ES File Explorer" via it's backup function Maybe this info can help with your goal

This is the best method for installing mods for Blade and Sorcery as well btw. Its quick and easy and everything can be done inside the headset
