Empowering women through agrotourism with Rove Egypt | Tourism Recovery Programme

Agrotourism and reconnecting with our roots is becoming more and more popular in tourism.
Rove Egypt is one of the country´s first tour operators to introduce this concept into their business model. We travelled with them to the camomile fields at the Faiyum oasis, where Rove works with locals to provide an agrotourism experience whilst also bringing the benefits of tourism to the farming communities.
Rove Egypt is one of 50 sustainable tourism business in Egypt (and 415 worldwide) that have received financial support, one-to-one mentoring and access to a state-of-the-art online training platform through the Tourism Recovery Programme, implemented by enpact and the TUI Care Foundation. The programme is supported by the GIZ - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
