Wasn't really expecting this from RE. I was thinking that the engine unit will be a bigger one & the rest of the bike will the same with minor tweaks but I have to admit that RE has raised the bar. Everything looks to be put together well, can't wait for the full review!
@@Krishnendu792 previously different himalayan was given to reviewers and different was given to customers so reviewers gave good reviews and customers suffered 😎😎
I'll have to get used to the two side bulges on the tank. Not sure why the bash plate can't be fully aluminium but I'm certain there will be plenty of after market options. I also hope the front shocks can be fitted with pre-loaders. This is a very promising bike indeed. I'm already in love with it😂
That white model is having tube mtires.. That model doesn't have cross spoke rims.. So no tubeless in that variant... Cross spoke rim setup are different..
@@subasthapa8323 Correct as per visuals. Unless RE did some ground breaking R&D to seal the spoke punch holes inside the rim or has used some chemical to seal those. Both of which are kind of workarounds than a solid solution which I guess no OEMs would adopt for obvious reasons. The spoked tubeless tyres have the spokes attached to the extended circumference of the tyres. Means you can see the spoke ends attached on the rim as they don't get concealed by the tyres in the centre. Not so happy referencing a Chinese brand. But do visit the Zontes showroom to understand how the spoked tubeless tyres from OEMs look like.
Probably better overall, but has not the same rugged oldfashion character of the first version. Overall I prefer the simplicity and even the aspect of air cooled engine over this one. A old one with 10 cv more and a better front brake it's a much better option.
It will be significantly more powerful than the older one. Except for the omission of tail light, and the digital cluster, rest of the bike looks good. I need to look at the bash plate again. But the engine sound says it all. It's going to be a good one! Also needs a much better rider. When I buy it, I'm going to take it slow! I have a feeling that this won't be anywhere near as forgiving as the 411.
If he would have tried to sit on the bike, we could have assessed the seat height whether its suitable for people in the height range of 5'6 to 5'8....Well they said don't reveal the specs but can give clues without saying it😅
looks a bit like Desert X, or just derived from it. the design language is more weird than before. The only major update that made sense was the USD showa and spoked wheels - tubeless.
I would have kept the old design. It just needed 12 more horsepower, a slightly different seat and a slightly better suspension. Actually, I would have been happy with just 10-12 more horsepower and I could modify the rest myself. I like the way the old one looked much better. The new one is probably a good bike, though.
See this is how Royal Enfield should make new bikes, not like how they made hunter (Literally same engine for almost 4 models). They could have made a 250cc high revving engine with water cooling and introduce it to hunter. Well here is an idea, they can launch new hunter, say hunter 450 with this engine (ofcourse with a re-map) and more premium quality than previous hunter and make it a bit expensive it is fine but as a customer we will get much better motorcycle where the engine characteristics fit with the chasis. Cause in hunter it is a sporty much young motorcycle but laid back by the slow revving long stroked engine.
Here are the specs guys. This should be more then enough. 452 CC Sherpa Engine 6 Speed gearbox Water cooled engine 40PS 40NM at 5000 RPM. SHOWA USD in front, non adjustable, rear with 5 adustable levels. It carries a massive 1510mm wheelbase, 45mm longer than the outgoing model width of 852mm, a length of 2245mm, and a height of 1316mm in its standard form. Considering a payload capacity of around 180 kg, the bike is expected to have a kerb weight of around 210 kg, which makes it 11 kilos heavier than the current Himalayan. Was tested with normal spoke wheels and tubeless spoke wheels as well. They may launch it with tubeless spoke wheels or offer it as an accessory. Can do 130-140 all day long without any issue. If you get a chance please review and compare with 440X, trimpth 400 , dominar 400 and benelli 502C(which i own, i can lend you my motorcycle for the review)
Everything is perfect, but now that i look at it more and more, i think the exhaust should have been a bit more raised, just like the old one. After all, the himalayan is an offroader, and that exhaust is the only think that doesnot look the part.
Rev builds up quick. But I sorely miss the dedicated taillamp and analogue array of clusters from old one. LCD looks newage no doubt. Hope RE prices it reasonably. Lets see the low end performance of the all new liquid cooled engine.
I hate the previous model's seat design but now the designer is listening to my words. I like the whole design of the Himalayan. Hope technically it should also be good, especially spare parts quality. RE plz decrease the price of accessories also. Thanks, RE

bar riser by 30 mm
Most advanced RE bike till date
Everything looks more expensive and of better quality than the current one. The design is more sleeker as well.
Let's hope the chassis don't break this time. But from the first impression it looks amazing 😍🤩

The only things that people asked for was more hp and better brake. The old vintage look was awsome. Pierre
I feel like the old frame had some limitations so they updated it as a whole
Overall the new Himalayan looks good and modern. One thing that RE should have done was to give a slightly bigger wind screen.
I think it is there as an accessory.
Yes,it’s tiny!

Ichy boots impressed with the new himalayan in ladak
Old Himalayan Looks much better ❤
Brilliant looking one. I really wanted to see the Golden Rimmed one. Eagerly awating for the first ride and tech specs.
This feels a lot premium and modern without ruining its identity. A great step taken by RE imo.
Nice look around. I did like the style of the old one though, it was like a classic Land Rover. This one will be better all round though
Wow looks like 700 cc advanture bike ❤
Xpulse 400 is on the way... leh mey dikhi thi. 4 din thi hero ki team.
Fine updates.. But i like the simple & classic looking gas tank before.. The former gas tank was what separated the himalayan from the rest.
