Luis that is an awesome update Brother!! I am so glad that you took that engine apart and found those issues! Also the mild cam with the E7 heads is going to be a great combo! That so awesome of your Brother to give you that upper and lower intake! You are doing marvelous work my Brother!💯🤟🏾👊🏾

Great catch on the cam and the intake

Nice progress Luis. I was not aware of the piston ring difference. Thanks for reminding me to thaw my turkey. Not joking either 😂

it's funny a familiar siight how close it's backed up to the garage.. I never showed a video of how I had to make a level platform because the garage dips in I hope it rolls out okay

The way my intake and heads turned out only a little cleaned up some of my head intakes have a sliver of metal you can see from the intake.. but reversion there isn't really a big deal and can be beneficial making the flow turbulent with the injector coming in right there... If it's significant and on all four corners then it's questionable but from what I've read at least in my situation no big deal. My garage camera is not reading SD cards so I haven't made videos and have a couple I haven't uploaded of the actual final e7s and what I did.. also I had 1262 and 1262r and ended up selling them not sure if the 1250 is the same rubber material .. the print o seal gaskets are a nice touch but for street engines you def want a steel core. I forget if 1250 is steel cores or not but rubber only will come apart and slide around afte many street driven heat cycles. When they say race like 1262R they mean it because it's for if you're doing enough engine teardowns where that gasket doesn't have to last tens of thousands of miles.. so i just used the stock gasket what enginetech provided.. put some ultimate black rtv around water holes and tacked it on with super glue gel .. i also used cork gaskets with some silicone.slathering.. not pretty but hopefully good sealing lol. I never truly checked my heads with a straight edge only used abrasion to re surface them a bit but I'm using full thickness gasket so hope they are okay.. and arp bolts lol
