Yes you got the correct procedure. Alde have their own website which is full of useful information and their own manuals. I’ve had Alde systems for years, very good and very efficient. I have only had ‘air cushion’ warning come up once in about 10 years. The van was “laid up for winter” but the boiler was on because of our lovely “frosty nights” here in the UK. I followed the same procedures as you and system works fine. Have fun and enjoy Alde with all round heating and no hot or cold spots as in air heating.
Stoneyboot channel has a Cirrus 920 and Scott and Sasha can help you with whatever questions you may have about your camper. Great video, thanks for sharing!
Great video! Thanks 😊 I’d been looking for one for non-techies like me that had lots of pictures and showed what to do with the city/campsite water and the Nautilus system, and this one was perfect! (I have a 2023 400 BD but it should work the same.)
Hi guys, I rather enjoy two videos a week. Since you both helped in the planning and build with your last van, you had a pretty good understanding of your rig. Now, you’ve got a few unknowns to figure out. But I know you two will master the camper very quickly. Just don’t mistake the “air cushion” for the whoopie cushion! Sorry, it had to be said. Carey On!
Hi guys! we also have a 2022 820. picked it up in Oct. We had issue first night with Alde system. Dealer told us that the Alde system is very sensitive to domestic water pressure. In our packet they included a water pressure regulator. We bought a better one then the one supplied and haven't had any issues now. it's part of our water connection including water filter every time. Good luck with the new rig. maybe we'll meet up on the road...
Are you guys liking the Alde system? Does it take very long to get hot water? The RT takes a long time and is a huge waster of fresh water. Have you used the heat? Must be nice having it come through different locations in the camper as well as much quieter than the propane furnace in the RT. As I was writing this, thought of your video to replace the cabin air filter in the Promaster. Time to order another one and replace it. Your videos are entertaining and so practical! Thanks!
Loving the Alde so far. I remember that about our RT. Once it’s turned on and warmed up the water is hot fast. The silent heat coming from everywhere is so nice. Cheers!
It's interesting that Alde changed the procedure from 3010 to 3020. It used to be drain the boiler once a month to this. I guess it's easier this way :D
Has this continued to be a problem? Does water leak from a vent or overflow, ion the side of your camper when you use the water at the fixtures? We're in a new 920, and this has been an ongoing issue for us, even though we did this step a few times. Cirrus is going to send us another valve, but what has been your experience? Thank you in advance. We're full timers and are looking to have solutions and wisdom for the community.
Appears #NuCamp or Alde did away with the autoair bleeder valve. Ours malfunctioned, then drained a gallon ($35) or more of Glycol fluid onto the ground. A hazard for dogs wanting to drink. Found many folks removed and used a manual method. This next spring, we will drain system to replace existing Glycol as required every two years. Wife is telling me there's new fluid to use. Hopefully, we can find out what it is. Does anyone know? #nucamplife #nucampfamily #cirrus820 #cirrustruckcamper #nucamp #nucamprv
Good job. I can`t help you on this. We have not city water plug in. ( frost). But you can have "air cushion" in the glukol system if the heat not come up. Happens rearly. For me never.
Someone in the comments mentioned that older models have an auto air bleed valve and that Alde may have gone away with it as some were having issues. Our owners manual says we will have to do it once in a while. 🤷♂️😁
Most excellent video!!! Tremendous help to me.

I like the pickup truck and separate cabin. Makes for great living and not being vulnerable, while the vehicle goes in for maintenance.

Jury panel continues observance. Enjoyable interaction in the interim….. thank you,

Great job. My air cushion light came on. I used your video to remedy the problem. You guys are awesome!😀
Awesome! Thanks for letting us know!🙌

The new challenges spice things up nicely.👍😁

Good to know. We use the included pressure regulator but might look at a better one. Thanks:)
Good afternoon from Godley Texas, good advice even though I don't have a hot water heater 😎
🖐 Hello Texas!!
Love the Alde in our T@b400 Boondock! Quiet and confortable radiating heat!
Loving the Alde!!
Nice easy fix👍🏻
Yes!🙌

@@AllanMain1776 it hasn’t. Every week or two we go through this process real quick when we dump tanks. No leaks or other issues. Good luck!

Interesting.
What model is your Alde? 3020?
I assume so. The first 4 numbers in the model # is 3020.
Humm, not quite “Tool Time with Dave”, but a great tutorial nonetheless 👏🏼👍🏼
😁🙌

Hmmm, interestingly in 4 seasons of using Alde never got that error

@@CareyOnVagabond we have the tab 400, i'm pretty sure the message is just on a timer.
We don’t dry camp. Bigger problem is our system is not producing heat. We get hot water but not heat.
Learn something new. Have you baked scones in the convection
microwave yet?
It’s on the short list!🙌😉
