I've heard that off all the old timers and the stories of the bucket handles. I do love a good old story from the old boys kicking around full of knowledge and experience and i know it as half round.
Aside from all the jokes, what you see here is how trades used to be passed on. How the job is done, giving of confidence, how to deal with customers. This went on for centuries. Sadly it’s lacking today and it’s great to see it happening here, I’d love to see it come back everywhere!
Looks excellent 👍👍 As for clients I had to take one to court for the third installment £248,000 on his new build. Nearly sent me to the wall, glad I had £ squirreled away.

why are you saying the perps are "massive" they look about the same as the beds i.e ten mills. which is correct for flettons. ive been on many house builds where the bond was chased around the oversite in the mud, and sometimes it was possible to reverse the bond with some "mums on dads", james bond, brook bond, bassildon bond. thus making it easier for the moaning re pointers that dont have a clue how houses are built, and pretend to be bricklayers, boils my piss. 9.9% of pointing jobs rely on the ignorance of the home owner who think they need it done. bollocks. and every "surveyor" (10 months at school, lease car and lots of aftershave) will tell you your new home needs repointing because he's a twat that has never laid a brick in his life, and has no understanding of prevailing weather, bricks used, mortar used, and never got his hands dirty, good old degree nonsense, the only solace for me is they will be paying for their fake job for the rest of their lives, te heee.
