so reminds me if working building houses with my dad in the early 80's , he had an old brickie who worked for him . Donkey jacket , woodbines , an 6 pints at dinner time , happy times . Watching in New Zealand now remembering 😊
Nice to see the old bricklayer in his natural environment, a cafe looking as pleased as punch 😊 Working in Fred Dibnah territory in glorious sunshine perfect 👌
I love watching your videos , the old man is a inspiration to us all.. I'm just in from a day's graft myself..., you can't beat old school way, young fellas these days stuck on the phones ,don't want to work hard they complain about everything, when they turn up ....glad you enjoyed your breakfast , nice job as usual👍
That breakfast looked great. Nice job on the grinding out. This good weather has been a bonus. I've been painting a big house in Cornwall. Will be finished today 😊
Lovely prep work boys. Look forward to some tidy pointing tomorrow. Hope the weather holds for you. Still, if it rains, more time for breakfast eh! Take it easy up there.
If you check my short vids there is a couple showing the set up and it in use. And the cowels etc that I use are in a longer vid . I will Add it to a longer vid soon
Ben is that round flu for a furnace or fireplace, do you use cap on flu pipe to keep rain and moisture out, I see the telly antenna around the chimney, they now make a roof tripod you can adjust to hold antenna as we have found cold and heat affect the wire and have caused damage in high winds, nice cobel finish on chimney will look super when completed, wish I could join you for breakfast, all the best,
After a real heavy morning The Old Bricklayer needed his fill and that breakfast just about satisfied him .He uses the scaffold mainly to survey the radius of 50miles of which he owns the work in that area and guards it mafia style.
