So smooth and I don’t even think he’s close to giving it 100 percent can’t wait to see what he can do. Don’t underestimate his ability to push the car when it counts. I really wanna see him win it!
I don't know about anyone else, but I was squeezing my fists during that entire sequence...and I'm ONLY watching what he's doing. This guy is a beast. I hope he does well (in both races), and I really feel he's THAT good, he might even have a chance of winning one of the races, if not both. Wow. Such an amazing wheelman. Oof.
Yep, even the great Jim Clark took more than one try... and he had the advantage of know that "type" of car quite well, as the rear engine cars were still a bit of an unknown to some in the field...
@@dcstrng1 obviously never seen Jim race apart from poor quality film but if he's better than Larson I missed out because Larson is the best dirt racer I ever seen and then with garbage NASCAR is he can't show his true greatness there so if he does well here it solidify what I already think that he's a one off kind oval racer.
Wow Kyle you look great in that McLaren you had such a clean run, good luck in the Indy 500 I will be pulling for you and Alex Paluo, you both are my favorite drivers, Kyle you look great and so comfortable in an Indycar you should do this more often
The real test for Larson will be qualifying I think. You basically have to keep it pinned through all four corners at over 230 mph if you want a competitive speed, that is no easy feat for someone who's just starting to compete in these cars. God bless him
Yep, those turns come up awfully quickly... I could see doing that for 10-15 laps, about a 100mph slower , but then ,my concentration would go away... 🤨
I have never watched an in car camera in an Indycar before and cannot believe the speed, rpm's and the way they stick with so little steering input also. Wow, just wow and I'm sure it gets even faster as his seat time grows so will he. Larson for a historic win!!!!!
I’m the biggest Tony Stewart fan that ever lived . Started in the IRL in the late 90’s and the jump to NASCAR was unbelievable. The Double Duty is the greatest racing challenge that has ever lived . It goes back to the days of Foyt , Andretti , Kurt Busch , Robby Gordon , and Cale Yarborough and Lee Roy attempting it . Kyle Larson is the best horse in the race ever to actually win both . When Tony got a 5th at Indianapolis and then a podium in the 600 miler was unheard of . I really think Kyle Larson will win both .
Smooth ride, today isn't Monday now, I was getting to write Sunday but doing 180 MPhil on Sundays, what's his speeds in practice, 220 roughly ?he can drive anything and drive it well, what's next so he's not boars, TOP FUEL FUNNY CARS AT 320 MPH FOR 4 SECONDS AND THEN SMILE, THEN LOOSE FOR GOOD AS NOT BOARD BUT GOING FAST!!!

Just to lead laps would be a win for him hope he can have a good run next weekend
Congratulations Larson and Indycar
What a great opportunity to see this, God bless you and keep you safe Kyle.
pretty sure it will be all of the engineering that was done by fellow humans that will keep him safe
Gotta love the sound of that engine.
Hybrid is coming
@@nicksmith9 The hybrid is a separate unit to the engine unlike F1, WEC, IMSA etc so the exhaust note won't change.

Talent
Larson would be an all time legend if he won.
He's already that. Pretty hard to do it this year but give him two or three maybe

That was awesome run Kyle praying for his safety and winning the INDY 500 he is the best driver ever ❤
I heard Kyle said he didn’t really notice the difference in speed when he got it up to speed!
I hope he wins the pole. Hammer Down
Kyle!
each corner was smooth and consistent. the competition should be very worried about this guy taking the win at Indy.
That has to be intimidating for anyone, regardless of the series you're in or came from. The speeds they carry are insane

Nice practice...good experience for timing his runs to make the pass before the end of the straight.
He's gonna do good.
Yes, I expect he will do quite well!
I'm pulling for you Kyle come back to the dirt track this year you and Kasey put on good shows
I think Lsrson is best chance we have seen from Nascar to win Indy 500.. I think he will be in top 5 when comes down to end of 500.

Crazy fast for having limited seat time. And when he beats Ganassi cars, well …
He reminds me of Jeff, acclimates quickly to any car type.
Really enjoy the gradual entry and exit to pit row.
