I just want to thank you for the videos y’all put out. I’m new to fly fishing and would have been completely lost without watching your lessons. From casting to tippet I’ve learned a lot in a short amount of time. Thanks again. Keep up the good work.

Yes! LOVE IT!
Thanks for reiterating! I'm still trying to get the hang of this on my own without having to pay someone.
Thanks for watching but taking a lesson from a professional is invaluable. No way around that truth.
I love your editor

Thanks, excellent tips.
Thanks for being here.
Great tips! Thank you very much.
Thanks for being here.
Great video and as always, good tips on proper casting technique. As for hand position, I hold at the end of the cork except for my 12 weight Winston Boron IIx, which has a double full Wells grip. Holding at the front is not feasible since the reel is too far behind your grip. I hold it at the front when I Spey cast it.
Thanks for watching.
Hopefully this will help me improve casting
It most certainly will......he promised at the end.
Only just started just have to learn different ways with my being in a wheelchair@@Madriveroutfitters
Thank you!
Right back at you!!!
Great video! Just recently got into the salt water game and am wondering everyone’s opinions on a moonshine vesper? I’ve heard mixed things so I went for a sage foundation which is a fantastic rod. Keep up the great work, these videos are extremely useful!
Thanks for watching. Feel free to contact the shop anytime with questions like this. They are always happy to help.
Can you tell me where you go that nautilus knob replacement. I been looking everywhere for a bigger size. I appreciate you, Thanks for the great advice and videos!

Thanks for watching.
Sheesh, now ya tell me! 😂😂
Actually he has.....in the first few episodes of this series. Just a refresher here! Thanks for watching.
When do you let all that extra line out ? On the forward throw or on the back throw?
Please send any and all questions directly over to Brian and he’ll be happy to help. You can email him or give him a call. Thanks.
I'm an index finger caster - I have my index finger at the top of the cork instead of my thumb, am I holding the rod wrong? Now I fish 90% with rods < 7.5' and 10% between 8-9'.
Feel free to send those questions directly over to Brian at the shop and he'll be happy to help/answer. You can e-mail him or give him a call direct. Thanks!!!
Hey Brian, I do a lot of hopper fishing up in MT a couple of times a year. Have you cast the Sage Ignitor and what are your thoughts on that rod vs. the R8. Thanks for any reply to this !
Thanks for watching but Brian doesn't come around here much or at all. You CAN reach him through the shop though and he's always happy to help and answer questions. You can e-mail him or better yet give him a call.
Got it thanks
Lefty was right….🙃 hehe
Thanks for watching.
What throws me off about your foundational fly-casting videos is that it looks like you always use a "double haul" cast. Is that a more advanced move?
Yes, he always double hauls. ua-cam.com/video/D5tIbK6xcjI/v-deo.htmlsi=h0jSPghVfoDo_k35
