Live from Columbia University in New York City, where more than 100 students were arrested last week after having put up encampment on the university grounds. A growing number of IVY league universities across the US are seeing pro-Palestinian protesters and students calling for their colleges to cut financial ties with Israel.
Dr Minouche Shafik warned demonstrators that "alternative options" would have to be considered for clearing the area on the New York City campus if an agreement with demonstrators was not reached.
A group representing pro-Palestinian protesters said it would not continue engaging in negotiations.
