Queen Rania, I am a 73 year old white American woman and I am enraged by the complicity of our government. I am not a political person, but I saw immediately that netanyahu was taking advantage of the October 7th attack (or even worse actively let it happen).

And Her Majesty Queen Rania is a real queen, a smart, well-educated, eloquent, compassionate, kind, diplomatic and graceful woman who is also, guess what, Muslim and Palestinian. In a 30-minute interview, she demolished all stereotypes about Palestinians and Muslims. I admire her calmness. Her people are killed and maimed every day, yet she speaks so calmly and rationally about the whole tragedy. She really is the Queen.
One of the most knowledgeable and articulate "first ladys" Ive heard speak. Important that she places herself on both sides of the conflict to gain total perspective. Would that the powers that be do the same, maybe this would already be settled.

Queen Rania is a very intelligent, objective thinker who speaks succinctly of the need for conciliation especially for all the innocent people caught up in this horrible situation. The use of famine as a weapon of war constitutes mass punishment and is considered a war crime. But when will the international community take action?

Such a well balanced respect for individuals on all sides whether Palestinian, Israeli, Jordanian, or American. There is value in every story and what's happening will sadly impact many generations to come. I pray Hamas will cease, Israel will stop attacking, Palestine will receive aid (food, medical treatment, reconstruction), the hostages are returned, and that reconciliation will happen between Israel and the rest of the middle East so that the holy sites can be protected and shared respectfully by all.

I wrote to my MP (UK) and said something very similar about how the failure of the world to adhere to international law and to allow this to happen in Gaza put us all at risk. It is a safeguarding nightmare on a world scale. With the international court and the UN undermined and internationally agreed laws twisted and ignored, no one in any country is safe.
And it seems to me that few people realize the importance of this.

This is all about empathy, about Justice, about respect of human rights, this about ending the occupation from the state of Israel and educate the world on who is really the villain here. We need peace on this world and the violence from the state of Israel will only feed more violence from where they least expect it. We need peace, peace and tons of educación. Excellent interview by Queen Rania who explains the situation brilliantly, one thing Ms Brennan don’t try and confuse the situation with Antisemitism, criticism of the Israeli government or the military is not antisemitic
Presenter said the isrealies are traumatised after October 7what about the palestinians being traumatised for the last 100 years.

Excellent interview. She addressed everything, but forgot to mention that Oct 7 happened because of Israel’s continued atrocities on Palestinians for more than 75 years and Israel’s continuous building of illegal settlements in Palestinian lands and dehumanizing Palestinians.

I have the up most respect for her.
Unfortunate civilians were caught in cross fire and it’s very sad but queen Rania one thing you have to understand is Israel cannot allow Hamas scavengers next door. Imagine if your Jordan would allow such a terrorist to live at your door step if Oct 7 had happpened in Jordan?? Definitely not. We understand you’re from Palestine and the pain of seeing your people die but you should put the blame on Hamas equally, they started this suffering.
But there is no Hamas in the West Bank and it is under Palestinian authority. How many people are dead now?

People keep asking why activism happens on college campuses and it's simple: Because that's where tens of thousands of people gather. Nowhere in adult society is there an equivalent outlet where people have the opportunity to interact with others en masse, in person, and exchange ideas.
Queen Rania is a wonderful, excellent, superhuman being. The World must listen to her. Of course, Netanyahu and his acolytes will not listen to her, but I hope the Government of the USA can change its present stand and listen to her.
What is missing from this discussion is talking about how to deal with extreme and misinterpreted religious believes on all sides including America ... some people think they are fulfilling a prophecy and they will discover later after committing crimes in the name of God that these prophesies are all bogus
