Beautiful Mallaig, so proud to have grown up here. Funnily enough my first job was cleaning at the Moorings and one of my last before moving away was as a waitress at The Cornerstone (both with different management at the time) Cannot wait to go back this July to see family
I might be off track with this but iam sure my Grandad & Gra, George Stronach & violet Roberstson has the buchers which i have been told is now a restaurant. Guess i will have a little visit tomorrow 🤔see where my dad grew up

That is ironic. Both places under very friendly ownership now. Compared to say 20 years ago Mallaig feels like it's on a real upwards curve.
There is more than one ferry to Skye. The Glenachulish runs across the Kylerea narrows which is the old drovers route.
