One way to look at it isn't that Tony got 46% of the vote, it's that 54% of the people voted against Tony
Unfortunately however many who voted for the other 3 may still be more inclined to vote for tony when their 1st choice isn’t available.

at the risk of taking/making things way too serious, I actually think that's more perception than anything.
Over the past few years it's been routinely proven that the power lies in the hands of individuals, and always has. I mean, Bud Light obviously, but Disney ain't doing too hot, apparently Doritos had/has some thing going on, now for some reason people incorporated a business about covering infants in honey and that's not going too well for them, Framework is staying afloat and making new products with the singular value proposition of "it's repairable", ("Hur de hur voting with yur wallet is a myth! By the way I'm pushing legislation that will give the government the power to control what you can buy!") the Steam Deck was a breakout success due in large part to it's *_exceptionally_* consumer-friendly nature, Steam itself is as old as Myspace yet has survived competition from the likes of Google/Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. and is still running strong meanwhile, yeah, when's the last time you thought of Myspace? Looking at it from an economics perspective, all of the richest people alive today weren't born into it. Bill Gates? Nope. Elon Musk? First generation immigrant actually. Jeff Bezos? Teen pregnancy. Hell even Warren Buffet was born to a fairly modest family IIRC. Generational wealth *_is_* a thing in technicality, but in actuality - what with all the BS around inheritance taxes and fees (and it *_is_* BS) along with the fact that people born rich don't tend to understand or value money - the individual has always been the primary dictator of their own life. I mean, basically all of the absolute richest of the rich got there from the bottom by working and paving their own way, and we just sorta never mention that or talk about it in favour of 'evil capitalist bad! They contribute nothing to society!', while we lounge around waiting for our 1-hour prime delivery to arrive that would have never happened if that evil capitalist that contributes nothing to society hadn't wanted money. ('always' here meaning the past few decades in, primarily, America. Anyone alive today in a modern, somewhat-free, developed nation like America was/is able to dictate their own life generally speaking. On a greater timescale though, no, not even remotely 'always', this is actually a very recent development which makes it all the more annoying so many people are actively trying to undermine it via their own ignorance) edit : I did a quick check and, to put a number on it, 70% of families lose their wealth by the second generation.
IMO people have just been convinced/believe that they don't have the power (or the touch!) because if someone thinks they can solve or act to solve their own problems, why do they need you? It's a lot more politically convenient (not necessarily just traditional politics either! I can go on at girthy length about the internet's golden child Rossman. The long and short is the more I watched him critically the more I began to understand the subtle difference between a conman and a grifter.) to convince people they're powerless and you are actually the one with the power because it's the easiest way to make people depend-on/support you. I mean it is quite literally selling them something they already own by convincing them they don't have it. "You can't solve your own problems, so give me power, money, and influence to solve them for you! I'm fighting for you!" Sure sounds a lot less cozy like that, doesn't it? Yet, that's exactly what so much of modern politics, both in the traditional and non-traditional spheres, has become; convince people they're powerless, sell yourself as the solution.
Like I said, I'm taking the risk of making this way too serious, but the takeaway here ought to be far more hopeful than my all-natural cynicism may convey. The point I'm making is that, for most purposes, the commonly propagated idea that people are 'taking back the power!' or some-such is wrong, because individuals never *_lost_* the power, most people just (very unfortunately) became more and more complacent giving it away. The freedom to do something intrinsically means the responsibility for doing it well/appropriately; you have the freedom to eat pounds of bacon and buckets of cheese, and as a result you are responsible for your own health and well-being. Unfortunately, that also means there is a real incentive to convince yourself you *_don't_* have the freedom to solve your problems, since if you did then you'd also be the one responsible for solving them. So, take the kick in the pants and here's a free puppy; you are, and always have been, responsible for your own problems, and you have, and always have had, the ability to solve them.
We do, but remember, he's a business owner, and one of the most popular gun youtubers. He's not just a random joe.
But this is still a YUGE step forward for We The People.

The Republican party is far from perfect, but I've learned the hard way that the Democrats are worse. We need to elect leaders who will put Americans first, not corporate donors, foreign nations and illegal immigrants.
As non American this is quite alien to me. You don’t have money to throw around, yet you give it to some millionaire so he can archive his goals? And what’s even stranger to me: the US is the country with the most gun related deaths in the world. And the „best“ part. You 4% of the world‘s population had 288 school shootings in the last 9years. On the 2. place is mexico with 8, and the 3. is fricking south africa (which is quite a hellhole) with 6. The other 90% of this planet’s population has had 3 to none in the last decade. You have 2 kids soon reaching an age to visit school, yet your priority is unrestricted gun access? I don’t talk about abolishing gun ownership (i have quite a lot of guns myself, including ARs and all the fun stuff), i talk about gun control which makes sense. Tracking guns (especially digital, not a piece of paper in a box somewhere in the cellar), registration of private purchases and sales, no guns for people with misdemeanors, obligatory gun courses for every gun owner, storage rules if the guns are not in use (if you aren’t using it, put them in a safe!). Nobody’s talking about canadian or european regulations, just a bit more control. Pro life, so to speak 😉
