The list of the countries in the video: 10. Japan 09. Netherland 08. Finland 07. Canda 06. Iceland 05. Australia 04. Norway 03. Ireland 02.Denmark 01. Switzerland
I don't buy this list . A car is stolen every 40 minutes in Canada , Shootings are very common in cities like Toronto. Uncontrolled number of allegedly international students coming on fraudulent documents and going to shady colleges and exacerbating the housing shortage crisis. Record numbers of people using food banks , record number of homelessness.....

We have FREE medical, top wages and amazing free education. We don't get snow either in any of our large cities but you can got into the country to ski! Aussies will welcome you, we love our US cousins.
😂😂😂 I’m Australian and it’s always funny to hear about people having fear about wildlife and the past COVID laws. a) yes during COVID our laws were strict but not many people died. b) I have NEVER been afraid of snakes and spiders as nearly no one is killed by these animals. And if an American calls Australia a police state that is just so laughable. 1% of Americans are incarcerated which is far higher percentage then any other developed nation. I assume a yank wrote some shit about a police state because that is a very American thing to say.
I live in Ireland. Just to correct you on one thing: The country's population isn't 7 million it's actually 5 million. Other than that, I'm really happy to see it on this and yeah I do agree with everything else that you've said about the country in this video. In fact, if anyone here is thinking about moving here, remember that it doesn't matter what nationality you are, everybody is welcome here! Irish people are always very friendly and very welcoming to everyone! Respect to you for putting the country here.
Thank you sir, nice to see my Switzerland doing well. I am an American here now for 34 years and counting. 6 adult children born here and all did well with the world`s best apprenticeship system, and no debts for it. I love the beauty of this small country and the 4 language regions make it even more exciting. I still love driving and the sudden change of the signs in the Italian, and French speaking regions, as I live in the Swiss German speaking region, and love it. I grew up with a great father, but we were poor to the bone. He got into Buddhism after the army and his Christian upbringing and kept changing the places we were living in. He was a welder and artist, and kept busy with that stuff. No racism, no guns, no bibles, no flag waving, just respectful of others and low key. I love the amazingly beautiful Swiss churches everywhere, and yes I go in and relax. In America no, because it was not welcoming at all. Here never ever anybody attacking me, or questioning why I am inside the church. I sent a letter to Bern telling them this story and a woman wrote back that I am welcome and they are thankful for my feedback, although I am not religious at all. I lived in New Jersey, Idaho, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maine, Colorado, Oregon, Colorado again, then Washington state, where I finished high school in 1983. From there it was to my mom just north of San Francisco, where I studied classical ballet for 4 years. Then I met a Swiss girl in SF who was learning English, after her Paris stint for French. I am a mountain person so totally happy here, just like my favorite place, Colorado, in America.
American expat here in CH too - for 9 years. 1 more until I can apply for citizenship. My family absolutely loves it here! If we knew we were going to stay so long we would have kept kids in the local school. But they’re in the international school and love it. And my son is thinking about going to film school in Prague. Another win!
I am French, husband American, and after over 30 years in the US, I want to return to Europe... but outside of the EU. My husband loves Europe. We are planning to move to Switzerland, around Lugano. I speak fluent French, good Italian and some German. Do you know of a good expat site for Americans living in Switzerland? Thank you!
@@stayfocused1041 Lugano in Ticino is my favorite place. My ex Swiss wife has a house in Morcote, names Switzerland`s most beautiful town some years ago. Damn it! 😄 Sorry, but I am not aware of any expat site for you to contact. I wish you all the best with that adventure, and I highly recommend it. I love Italy, France, Germany, Austria, and Lichtenstein. Great to be surrounded by them.
@@davidbalmer473 Thank you, it is very encouraging. I have checked real estate in Morcote, seems wonderful. We will most likely rent a house for a year outside of Lugano and then decide where to purchase. We like quiet and privacy, the countryside, and one of my husband's hobbies are fruit trees.
Thank you for this list. I have been to every one of these countries and have found a lot to like about each of them, with the exception of CLIMATE. I would not like to live in the frigid winters of most of them. Australia's climate is probably the most manageable for me.
Wow, I'm lucky enough to have seen Seljalandsfoss in Iceland just two weeks ago. What a beautiful sight, especially when the whole surrounding area is covered in snow! I also saw Plitvice last year, both incredible sights!
So this is where “mango tango” has went, I wondered what you were doing after the mango tango channel was on break. Hopefully ya go back to that channel one day
I lived in Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Spian and Serbia, and I would put Denmark in 1st place! Besides amazing infrastructure and job opportunities with good wages, the locals are the friendliest people on earth. Just having a walk down the street will fill you with such a positive energy because everywhere you look you will see people smiling, laughing, singing, etc. It is the only country I lived in where locals actually make effort for expats to feel welcomed and integrated (not something I could say for Switcherland). They love their country, you will see a DK flag on the windows of EVERY household, and for a good reason. Most of them stay in DK their whole lives without having any intentions of moving anywhere else (that''s why you will not see many danes around the world). Also, out of the bigger cities, the countryside is beautiful! So many green spaces with beautiful villages! It's the country that literally has everything you need for a very content life. The only thing that I don't like is the lanaguage (to me personally is the ugliest language alongside thai) but they all speak english perfectly, from little kids to very old people! I also have to add that is probably the best country to live in if you have a physical disability: having one myself I often felt discrimination in other countries, well not in Denmark! Besides the benefits and amazing social services, the people there just never made me feel different with starring or special treatments. Hands down the best place in the world!
There are also a lot of almost abandoned towns that look like crap. With no job opportunities in so many parts of a very small country. Shops closing down etc. Roads that got so many bumps in it its barely drivable.
Exactly, add onto that the insanely high taxes on EVERYTHING and the current housing crisis(both renting & owning), forcing people away from the areas with jobs to live in run down shacks in the middle of nowhere. @@RobinAsp77
ok stay there plz. dont move... where roads in bad conditions, climat and so on , i m sure Swiss people dont like you or somebody like you.. so much...
My grandfather came from Ireland to UK in 1895 because most Irish people were poor, glad to say his offspring have all worked hard, prospered and are very happy here in beautiful England.
you might get to hate it tho since - english isn't an option meaning if you want to get anything done when it comes to documents you better know your kanji - working from home is a concept that many still can't wrap there head around (even youtubers have issues since "youtuber" isn't viewed as a proper job in some cases) - japan in general is still very old fashioned .... a lot of paperwork, nothing is digital, cash is necessary in basically every place, (yeah convenience is solved nice in some cases, such as puplic transport, but same can't be said about work life) - very poor work life balance with basically no free/familytime and basically no vacationdays (and even the ones you do get aren't used most of the time because of the pressure you have at work and from colleagues that would have to shoulder your work when you're gone) - racism against foreigners is still noticeable in japan so finding an apartment or even a job might be difficult, since it isn't very common to move around/move jobs -> they dislike foreigners since they tend to leave after a few months/years - japan still has one of the highest suicide rates in the world because of their old fashioned work attic (for example even if you're done with work you're not allowed to go home since your boss is still working - and while waiting for him you have to look like you're busy cause that would be disrespectful as well)
The working hours are terrible and the US is probably better… The reason homelessness is not a problem is because people are working all day just to get by… Beautiful Japan is beautiful on the outside but not on the inside. After further research I no longer want to live in Japan or South Korea… Yes it’s a good place for vacation but not to live there. If you take my advice your life may be better than when you move to Japan.
as a japanese, it rly is a nice country... at least for now. life quality is great, and its quite clean almost everywhere, although as a foreigner you will probably face problems, we are notorious for our horrible engrish and racism. the work hours are hellish, no arguing with that, but its improving. honestly doe i kinda want to move to the us if i have the chance to. if you want to live for a few years it will prob be great but settling down for good... maybe nah
Though agree with most of the rankings I would highly suggest New Zealand could arguably beat Ireland, Iceland, Denmark and Australia but I guess it all depends on how you are determining the ranking. Interesting though!
I'm really not surprised to see Switzerland taking the #1 spot. Switzerland is the real global beacon on the hill. It's THE benchmark nation which all the other countries should strive to model after.
One of my clients is from Switzerland. She is a amazing lady. She helps the Switzerland community in usa all the time. I'm going to visit their one day😊
Switzerland is not all sunshine and rainbows. They have the highest number of gun owning citizen in the world behind the US and its the birthplace of the technocrat, iluminati elite and corrupt bankers.
Being from the U.S., I have not visited most of the countries on this list, but when I visited Switzerland I thought it was the the most awesome place I ever visited. Some may be personal taste since I liked the mountains and lakes, which is why western Canada is also special. . I thought though that Switzerland was expensive, so maybe that is just the case to outsiders visiting the country?
I am Swiss, and even though I love to travel to countries all over the world, I wouldnt want to live anywhere else, because I know that no other country can offer me the same quality of living like Switzerland. But yes, it is expensive. It is okay if you live in Switzerland and earn swiss wages. But if you visit Switzerland from a country with lower wages, its really expensive.
@@swissfoodie3542 Thanks for the info. I guessed that might be the case. I still wear my Lucerne Pilatus cap given out for free when at the top of Mount Pilatus in Lucerne from 2016. I recently ran in to a person here who grew up in Swiizerland who commented on my cap. She was even from Lucerne.
@@larryloveless2967 The cap seems to be a great memory from a great trip and I hope you will enjoy it for many more years. Pilatus is beautiful, as in Luzern. Both places are quite touristy (for swiss standards), but that doesnt change the fact that they are amazing.
@@swissfoodie3542 One unexpected highlight came when the main road for our tour bus was closed for some reason so we took aa altternate toute from St. Moritz to Innsbuck through a national park and went in to the rural mouttain areas of farming with the many cows and their bells and the farmers looking so surprised to see a tour bus. Fortunately we barely cleared some overhead bridges. Thanks
This is point of view refreshing to say the least. We have been subjected to political incompetence by those who's only goal is to fester their own nests for quite some time now. Indeed there are still those that genuinely strive for success in all arenas that will benefit the good. Thank you for this assuring post and we look forward to many more.

The failure of Silicon Valley Bank has torn into global markets, with investors ripping up their forecasts for further rises in interest rates and dumping bank stocks around the world. as a Dutchman I wanna say that the Netherlands is a country to study and then go to a place where the taxes are lower because you pay 48% of your yearly salary to the government. And the normal lifestyle is so expensive since the inflation. I earn about 6k a month pre tax so I make around 72k a year pre tax. That means after tax I get around 36k a year. I can save about 1,5k a month but I still live with my mother so no rent or monthly costs. I wanna go to Canada since my friend said it would be easier. Any suggestions ???
as a former canadian not sure if Canada is as low tax as you’re hoping so i’d recommend looking into how much Canadians really pay in taxes before moving. Good luck
What I've seen in the NL is that you get good value for your high taxation, and experience has shown me in my 85 years that low tax is great for the privileged and rubbish for the rest. Having seen the general lifestyle in the NL, other countries could learn a lot if only they dared to implement the changes. Be Careful what you wish for, I can assure you that most countries in the world do not compare with conditions in NL
If you want high income and low taxes in Canada, then your best bet is Alberta, in cities such as Edmonton and Calgary. However I hope you like driving because a car is essential in those areas.

So, how easy is it to get into these countries as an expat? Most of the countries on this list are incredibly expensive. A List of the top 10 safe educated countries with good health and social services that one could actually get into, to work or retire, without paying half your money in taxes, would be more interesting.
This video was awesome. I love all of these countries I will say the US is like a 3rd world country compared to these countries. Should not be on this list at all. It literally is not even on the top 100 places to live for safety
You mentioned the 10 best countries in the world but most are countries in the West except Hong Kong but few countries in Asia are mentioned. China can boast the happiness of it's citizens most advanced rail system, best cuisine & most beautiful landscape you can visit. Forget about the hype and see for yourself why China is the safest country in the world today.
25 years ago the Netherlands was a nice country to live in. Now there are to many problems; high taxes on income, homes, cars, food, gasoline etc., no affordable homes available, in a couple of years people have to work untill they are 70 years old before they receive a retirement pension, very expensive living conditions, crime rate increases every month, health care is getting worse, CO2 problem is gotten out of hand, should I go on?
Beaming with pride over moving to Canada last year from the UK 😃 I'd place Finland a bit higher, love that country but while Helsinki is a great city, I prefer Tampere, a hidden European gem and would happily live there if I could master the language 🤔
Can you share your insight and experience living in both Canada and the UK? I'm considering moving to those two or the US and would appreciate some real info
We moved from the UK back in 2020! Are you based near Toronto? Seeing house prices rocket in front of our eyes has been pretty scary. We might move out to Alberta once we've finished studying :)
@Rozhin I'm still kind of new in Canada, but from what I know so far, the people are the best. Already working with about the nicest team I've been a part of. I'm in the west part of Canada because it's close to so many beautiful mountain areas like Banff and Jasper and not too far from my fave parts of US, the PNW area. UK I find is too much hustle and bustle and while I know some lovely people, others in public can be quite rude and negative for no reason and haven't experienced any of that in Canada so far. But UK has plenty of lovely national park and beach spots in the summer and Scotland is for me the most beautiful part of the UK by far

Iceland and Norway are by far the best and cleanest and prettiest countries ever and should be at the top, and The Netherlands and Denmark and The Faroe Islands too, plus the languages Icelandic / Norwegian / Dutch / Faroese / Danish are so heavenly and five of the prettiest languages ever created that are as gorgeous as English / Norse / Gothic (ég myndi vilja búa á Íslandi, þrátt hið kalt veður) and also Welsh, and Sweden / Finland / Switzerland / Luxembourg / Austria / Ireland / Wales / Scotland etc are also in the top 10, and also, Finnish is not even close to being one of the hardest languages ever lol, Finnish is one of the easiest languages ever and is just a category 2 language, so it’s even easier than Irish and Scottish Gaelic which are both category 3, and I don’t understand why most ppl believe this misconception that Finnish or Hungarian are ‘hard’ lol, I am learning all these languages myself, so I know for a fact that they are very easy to learn and pronounce and type as they all use the Latin alphabet - the hardest languages ever would be the Asian languages (with the Chinese languages and Japanese etc beings the hardest ever) and Arabic languages and African languages which are category 6 to category 10 languages, and, the hardest European languages are Russian and similar languages that use different alphabets (category 5) and Polish and Czech which are category 4 with very heavy spelling, and Greek which is category 5 or 6, so they are quite hard too!
Whom Can We Trust If No One Is Trustworthy? One of my favorite quips from Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is when Tom is defined as “a glittering hero…the pet of the old, the envy of the young,” and there were “some that believed that he would be President, yet, if he escaped hanging.” With these few words, Twain captured the essence of leadership in our world. Those who get to the top are the fiercest, most determined, and most ruthless. Today, the latter quality has become so intense that we can no longer believe our leaders, and certainly not trust them to have our best interest in mind. I am not accusing any leader in particular, or even leaders as a whole. It is simply that in an egoistic world, where people vie to topple one another on their way to the top, the one at the top is clearly the one who trampled over and knocked down more people than anyone else. Concisely, to get to the top in an egoistic world you have to be the biggest egoist. So how do we know whom to trust? We don’t know and we cannot know. All we know is that we are in the dark. In a culture of unhinged selfishness, any conspiracy theory seems reasonable, while truth is nowhere to be found. When every person who says or writes something is trying to promote some hidden agenda, you have no way of knowing who is right, what really happened, or if anything happened at all. The only way to get some clarity in the news and goodwill from our leaders is to say “Enough!” to our current system and build something entirely independent. The guiding principle of such a system should be “information only,” no commentary. Commentary means that information has already been skewed. Information means saying only what happened, as much as possible, not why, and not who is to blame and who we should praise. Concurrently, we must begin a comprehensive process of self-teaching. We have to know not only what is happening, but why we skew and distort everything. In other words, we have to know about human nature and how it inherently presents matters according to its own subjective view, which caters to one’s own interest. To “clear” ourselves from that deformity, we must learn how to rise above our personal interest and develop an equally favorable attitude toward others. This is our only guarantee that our interpretation of things will be even and correct. Once we achieve such an attitude, we will discover that the bad things we see in our world reflect our own, internal wickedness. Our ill-will toward others creates a world where ill-will governs, and so the world is filled with wickedness and cruelty. Therefore, all we need in order to create positive leadership-and to generally eliminate ill-will from the world-is to generate goodwill within us. When we nurture goodwill toward others, we will fill the world with goodwill. As a result, the world will fill with kindness and compassion. By changing ourselves, we will create a world that is opposite from the world we have created through our desires to govern, patronize, and often destroy other people.
I am so looking forward to the best cities to live in the US videos. Big, Medium, Small, Very Small, and Small towns. Heck, if you want to do it, Very Small Towns. I’d like to see the worst Big, Medium, and Small cities as well. Yeah, those video’s especially as the cities get smaller, are incredible!
There was a time Canada was always in the top 5 in these surveys. We are slipping, government is becoming more corrupt, and the cost of living is going through the roof. We will be out of the top ten completely in less than 5 years imo.
The wages don't catch up to the cost of living. Back in 1964, my parents bought a ravine lot outside of Van. for $1000. A few years ago, that house sold for almost a million. Unreal.
Fantastic video! There was a time when my country (Sweden) were on these lists, now we are somewhere around 10-15 I think. Time to bounce back and defeat those Danes.
Haha certainly could have made the list! Your crime rate is a bit higher than the other nordic countries however, and your schools are much worse on average
@@FromHeretoThere Yes, that is exactly the issue. The schools aren't bad, only a bit flawed sometimes, but the increase in crime is a bit of a humiliation. It occurs mostly between criminals in the most populated cities.
Sweden is still up there, no worries, maybe your country lost a strand of hair against other nation so it didn't make it to the list , cheers from Switzerland sometimes aka Sweden or vice versa ;)

Yes but danish people so arrogant and snooby
@@RobinAsp77 yes i'm agree with you.. roads in very bad conditions, also climat , gastronomy...and so on

My grandfather came from Ireland to UK in 1895 because most Irish people were poor, glad to say his offspring have all worked hard, prospered and are very happy here in beautiful England.
Holle dear
See what they did to Ireland back in the 1805 era. UK my ass. UK was dominating Ireland for a couple of centuries. @Paddy234
The Irish were all poor BECAUSE of the Brits lmaoooo. You joined your oppressor and betrayed your people

I can’t wait to go to Japan🥰 it’s been on my list for years
Nice informative video, thank you so much. Slowing the video down just a bit might help match your pace of voice.
Dahhhh I so want to get out of the US and live in Japan for a year or two. Great content!
you might get to hate it tho since
- english isn't an option meaning if you want to get anything done when it comes to documents you better know your kanji
- working from home is a concept that many still can't wrap there head around (even youtubers have issues since "youtuber" isn't viewed as a proper job in some cases)
- japan in general is still very old fashioned .... a lot of paperwork, nothing is digital, cash is necessary in basically every place, (yeah convenience is solved nice in some cases, such as puplic transport, but same can't be said about work life)
- very poor work life balance with basically no free/familytime and basically no vacationdays (and even the ones you do get aren't used most of the time because of the pressure you have at work and from colleagues that would have to shoulder your work when you're gone)
- racism against foreigners is still noticeable in japan so finding an apartment or even a job might be difficult, since it isn't very common to move around/move jobs -> they dislike foreigners since they tend to leave after a few months/years
- japan still has one of the highest suicide rates in the world because of their old fashioned work attic (for example even if you're done with work you're not allowed to go home since your boss is still working - and while waiting for him you have to look like you're busy cause that would be disrespectful as well)
The working hours are terrible and the US is probably better… The reason homelessness is not a problem is because people are working all day just to get by… Beautiful Japan is beautiful on the outside but not on the inside. After further research I no longer want to live in Japan or South Korea… Yes it’s a good place for vacation but not to live there. If you take my advice your life may be better than when you move to Japan.
@Christoph Kallab I’m from Germany I don’t live there anymore I moved to the US but your English is solid
@@nolsoup thanks I appreciate your compliment c:
as a japanese, it rly is a nice country... at least for now. life quality is great, and its quite clean almost everywhere, although as a foreigner you will probably face problems, we are notorious for our horrible engrish and racism. the work hours are hellish, no arguing with that, but its improving. honestly doe i kinda want to move to the us if i have the chance to. if you want to live for a few years it will prob be great but settling down for good... maybe nah

I'm going to visit their one day😊
totally agree. I would love to move to Switzerland.
Not every country can get rich by hiding and managing dirty money.
Switzerland is not all sunshine and rainbows. They have the highest number of gun owning citizen in the world behind the US and its the birthplace of the technocrat, iluminati elite and corrupt bankers.
95% white. You're right.

Great video, I am very lucky that I have gone to 7 out of 10 best countries. Australia is the best!
as a Dutchman I wanna say that the Netherlands is a country to study and then go to a place where the taxes are lower because you pay 48% of your yearly salary to the government.
Ja ik wil hier studeren, in buitenland geld verdienen en hier doodgaam
as a former canadian not sure if Canada is as low tax as you’re hoping so i’d recommend looking into how much Canadians really pay in taxes before moving. Good luck
agree canada is not ideal at all
What I've seen in the NL is that you get good value for your high taxation, and experience has shown me in my 85 years that low tax is great for the privileged and rubbish for the rest.

We moved from the UK back in 2020! Are you based near Toronto? Seeing house prices rocket in front of our eyes has been pretty scary. We might move out to Alberta once we've finished studying :)
I'm based in Edmonton. I started out in Victoria, BC but a month later moved to Alberta as it does seem to be so much better with living costs.
