I am a trucker in outback Australia. For the most part you are right on the outback. It can be a very harsh and unforgiving environment but I absolutely love it. Such a beautiful view out my front window every day. Best office view in the world

I used to live in eastern Belarus, Mogilev city. But I moved to Southwest Kazakhstan, the city of Aktau. I don't regret anything. Also you forgot to mention Balkhash Lake, Caspian Sea and 48,262 lakes with only 12,400 big enough to be considered a lake. Hottest and lowest temperatures recorded are +49 degrees in Celcius and -57 degrees in Celcius, respectively. Nice video, wish you the best!

Wow that scenery of Kazakhstan looks beautiful. What an underrated country and the government should do a lot more to attract tourists. The scenery is just too stunning.
I visited it this year and have seen a good bit of that scenery first-hand and it really is stunning. One of my favourite countries in the world I've visited. Food is 10/10. You can find practically every variety of Asian food in big cities like Almaty. Not to mention the quality of the meat. Being heavy meat eaters it is extremely good quality. I can definitely recommend. A lot of Europeans dream about visiting Japan. I know I would love to visit it one day as well. But Kazakhstan is significantly cheaper to fly to and a much more original destination. I will definitely be going back, for longer though since I didn't venture far from Almaty.
I was so happy to see your footage from Mauritania. I lived in Nouakchott for two years. You are right about the climate being inhospitable, but the people are the most hospitable people in the world.

I lived in Mauritania on the border of the Western Sahara. Both are hot and empty there. I did ride the iron ore train and slept in nomad tents. A great experience and welcoming people.

When it comes to geography we have mountains, deserts, costal areas, plateaus, rivers, plain lands, greenlands, agricultural lands, rainforests, tropical forest snowy mountains, islands, volcanoes...you name it we have it..

I had a co worker that lived in Australia and one time him and a mate drove across the continent they stopped and got fueled up and got a barrel full of fuel because driving through the continent you wasn't going to find any gas stations. He said everything is on the coast because in land is too dry for anything to live.

Yo I am from Mongolia and I am happy to report that there are people living here 😂 like I got into a traffic jam that lasted like an hour for two km. 😂
The problem is UB /Ulanbaatar with its snail traffic, mongol govt must build a series of small cities outside the valley in which UB is located. Because of location , smoke generated in UB cannot escape causing pollution especially in winter. Outside UB the nation is a giant playground with mind blowing open space and breathtaking landscapes . BTW I have visited Olgii in western Mongolia , fell in love with the landscape and will try to visit again hopefully.
Coldest major city on Earth. That depends on your definition of major city. Yakutsk is much colder and has a population of 300,000, about a quarter of Ulan Bataar but still an urban center.
In a global context, I consider major to be over 1million metro population. Although yes, Yakutsk and a few other smaller northern cities are technically colder

you should also add that countries like Botswana and Namibia(Lesotho and Eswatini) were seperated by Colonialism and as such their people are in other countries similar to how most mongolians are in China. 1. Botswana's capital city used to be Mafikeng(which is currently in Rsa) up intil 1965. They chose to move it to Gaborone from fear of White people. A lot of the tribes found in Botswana can also be found in Namibia,South Africa,Zambia,Angola and some in Congo. There are more Batswana in South Africa than there in Botswana(roughly 5-7 million ). 2. Namibia got its independence from GErmany and South Africa and up until it got its independence it was colony. Also Namibia experienced a genocide caused by the Germans. I still appreciate the quality of your video because not a lot of people talk about SADC countries.
I think you forgot to mention New Zealand. There’s literally no one there in many parts of the country. Can’t remember amount of times outside capital cities and regional parks there was no one to talk to for hours. You have to live in a big town or city but even then it’s so quiet. Same for outback Australia except the fact there is dead hot heat, lots of mozzies and creepy crawlies and in fact many Aboriginal towns you need a license to enter and still take you days without seeing a single person or car. Permits to these very remote Aboriginal towns can be hard to gain access. But if it’s like Alice Springs no problem but a huge issue of racism and youth in detention.

I was on safari in Botswana and yeah, the elephants are EVERYWHERE. So many that they have to relocate them to avoid overpopulation. Those people really know how to protect their wildlife! It was amazing to see!

I am a seafarer from 1985 to 2000 and I've been in countries so many that I can't remember them all anymore. Different nationalities, living standard, weather condition, tradition & culture, food etc. But I prefer to live in my beautiful country, the Philippines.

I was on safari in Botswana and yeah, the elephants are EVERYWHERE. So many that they have to relocate them to avoid overpopulation. Those people really know how to protect their wildlife! It was amazing to see!
Kazakhstan is a lot more developed than I expected. One of my colleagues has lived in a few countries. He tells me that Kazakhstan is his favorite.
