I've contacted my local utility SA Water here in Adelaide and they do NOT perform any PFAS testing of the drinking water supply. SA Water states that the regulator SA Health says there is low risk of contamination. So my question to them is: "are you scared as to what you may find?" . Successful analysis often begins with an insatiable desire to understand. Curiosity compels us to ask the right questions, dig deeper in data sets and uncover the meaningful insights. With the increasing awareness of PFAS contamination over the past 10 years along with evidence that is is present within our region, why isn't SA Water performing ongoing PFAS testing to prove the drinking water system is safe.
