I love how drunk Spencer can hit the high note sober Kelly Clarkson can't hit anymore. This is a man with incredible range and control, a professional. Even when he's dicking about and not really working hard, he still sounds awesome.
Although a comical video, this is a perfect example of why Spencer is such a good vocalist. Dat vocal range.

I actually interviewed Spencer about this back in 2012... Wish I could find the interview, but he talked about that LOTS of people were saying "You guys should cover this song!". Would be so nice to see that happen.

I love it when modern metal singers have range, brings me back to the heyday of Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson. Deep growls and screams are fucking epic, but being capable of those AND singing is true talent.

Honestly, my least enjoyable part of Spencer's vocals are his screams. Which, I get. You have to scream a certain way to keep yourself from fucking up your singing voice when you have the voice of a god. So it's acceptable for his screams to be sub par.
