My first attempt at making a cover arrangement with some traditional japanese instruments, and also my first production after a long break.
I can't thank Thor enough for all the feedback, and @RyanMear for providing a blistering solo.
I'm also very happy and grateful for the vocals provided by Cran-Sama (@cranarcanaria753)
She has such a fantastic voice.
The video is made using mostly stock videos from www.pixabay.com, and it doesn't make much sense.

I'm going to stretch my neck out and say this is pretty much how I'd expect Band-Maiko would have covered this song...
Everything about this beautiful cover is perfect.
This is the best one I've heard, yet (I better catch up - it took me 5 mos to discover this one). Cran-Sama, love your voice and your interpretation on the vocals! Ryan, I am guessing you gave yourself goosebumps - as you nailed the solo (I know I got goosebumps) Probably my very fave Kanami solo. Bjorn, the accompaniement was really pretty! I think the video montage was a good re-imagining. Glashare, the mix was very clean and pretty! Thanks all!

Thanks for the great video. I really liked the choice of imagery. This is one of my top favorite Band-Maid songs. It would be interesting to hear it interpreted by a strong male baritone voice. (maybe even in translation if you can find a gifted bi-lingual poet for the lyrics). My instincts tell me that it would be different, but absolutely the same and every bit as powerful.

Both are VST-instruments, played to some degree on keyboard and manually edited. :)
sorry i love and appreciate the effort put into this (and have left a like) but i cannot get past how much i dislike the flute in this, i dont dislike it as an instrument or anything i think it's just the tone and just how much of it there is in the song it is just jarring to my ear
No worries. Flute can actually be a total deal breaker for my self many times. 😅
Tough to cover "Daydreaming"..........unless you can do just as good or better, let a Masterpiece be....IMHO
