Thanks for the review! Curious to see what you think about doing this with a blind test to the reg Ruseell's Reserve Single & Ruseell's Reserve Single store picks🥃
Look for Four Roses single barrel store picks. They’re usually $80-120 and there’s 10 different mashbill and yeast strain combinations. That would be a great series of comparisons. Awesome review!
I’ve been without internet for a bit and I’ve missed your videos. The single Rickhouse is a tad out of my price range. I was lucky enough that a friend (Carlos from Whiskey Corner sent me a sample. I have yet to try it, but this video makes me want to try it. Great video, thank you.
Elijah Craig Small Batch is really Huge Batch, there are no regulations to define Small. Bottled in Bond is real requirements going back to the 1800s, with the owner of what is Castle and Key now having a major influence. I do think that Glenn's Creek next door is making better bourbon for the price, however they only make about 1 barrel a day and distribution is limited.
Yeah right ... priced between $450 & $550 dollars. Whiskey and most especially bourbon market is out of control. You can get really good drugs for what yer paying for this stuff. And not nearly as expensive. Ah Wild Turkey rip off.
Yes! The Rickhouse will be better in richness and depth of flavor and longer finish due to higher proof and age. But, Rickhouse is a lot more expensive! The Kentucky Spirit CN-F is what I call "poor man's Rickhouse". 😄

This actually crossed my mind a day ago to do this!...it will be expensive for a 1 trip purchase so I will have to spread it out.

My favorite 4 roses expression 👍😉😋
I have 2 I think but doesn't hurt to buy more!
The concentrations of flavors are generally better, but that is not always the case. Glad to hear you enjoyed the reserve.
Great comparison! Keep doing your thing.
Thank you!
Great idea for this vid. Would like to see more like this. Maybe even same mash bills at same distillery
Wonderful as always!
Thank you! Cheers!

I honestly would not buy it at secondary even if it's really delicious. I came across Russels 15 selling at $500...hard pass
@@WhiskeyWonderWoman me too
I been drinking a Russell's 13 Batch 5 sample tonight ,, may have to look at that rickhouse .... Thanks
I have yet to find a Russel 13.....15 is way too expensive secondary
Love WT rare breed, so much flavor 😋 and Only $50 😉 Cheers 👍 🥃
I think rare breed is close to $60 in VA
and for the record, you can NEVER pout too much bourbon !!!!!
