Recently started playing votann and the taxi riding rule is an awesome tip! Gonna be able to take advantage of the warriors sticky objective rules really easily now
Great video! I play assimilation swarm and the first combo looks brutal with 10xGenestealer+Broodlord with instinctive defense, which gives them free heroic intervention and fight first!
I really enjoy your videos! Just an FYI your mic is clipping, which based off of the type of mic I can see you using, is best resolved by lowering the gain on the mic and positioning it closer to your mouth.
That taxi tactic is insane! Have a question tho, if I want my unit to embark my truck how close do I have to be? And do all the models have to be that close or only 1 to embark?

scout pre battle round, disembark, advance into the vehicle with another squad, then move the vehicle. can get like 20 inches of normal move on the transport this way
The regeneration doesnt get you the objective when its during your Command Phase though, as it is determined at the end of a phase whether the objective is held or contested, no? So you would have to have control over an objective in the previous phase in order to gain any VP in the explained case... ?
you misunderstand, you count the OC on the objective at the "end of command phase" So if you regen in your command phase. you now have more OC to tally up at the "End of command phase" and score the objective
For the reinforcement combo does it work on unit that are battleshocked when they are wiped? Since I know many flamer weapons test for battleshock after damage and you can’t apply stratigams on units that are battleshocked.
I love this combo in my Firestorm Assault Force. I put some Scouts in an impulsor and deploy it aggressively. I get second turn, it moves to cover. I get First Turn it Scouts 6“. The Scouts get out at the start of Turn 1 and a Unit of hellblasters embarks. Suddenly the impulsor advances and Almost always gets really close to something valuable. +1 to wound strat and bam… unleash 🤌

definitely excited for a squighog brick in reserves with beastboss on squigosaur. a 4 man unit probably better for the smaller footprint

I really appreciate the first trick. I've tried to make heroic intervention work with the locus in gsc but never could pull it off.
it can be tough to do, but is VERY rewarding!

every model must be "within 3" of the transport, big difference from a disembark where each model must be "wholly within 3"

any unit with transport capacity. Only thing a dedicated transport would get in addition is to scout if the embarked unit has the scout keyword
