This dude really knows what he's talking about...it's very clear in HOW he presents. It's also pretty clear he wasn't a basic government employee his entire life.
It's a shame that 99% of people likely won't fully know the real work and real understanding he has accomplished.

It was cast in London during British times, by Lester & Pack of Whitechapel.. if you look on the top inscriptions of the bell you'll see their names But indeed it was recast in Philly preserving the original inscription.

Indeed, the fact that those words "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto the inhabitants thereof" were cast into the bell by the British makes the message so much more poignant.

When they pounded those 2 spikes in the widened crack it put pressure on the bell and caused a non visible crack to spread They should have never done that. They should have left the widened crack alone and that bell would be ringing today...He did the best presentation of any other I have seen on here. I wonder that they did with those other ornate stands that it use to sit on?

I remember seeing the Liberty Bell in the early 80s. That was when they actually allowed you to step forward and touch the liberty bell. Now they don't let you do that because some jerk decided to hit the bell with a hammer to see if it would ring.

If they had any idea as to what they were doing they could have heated the bell to see where the crack really ended and would could have fully remediated the propagation upward.
I bet the same people directing this operation were early descendants of the people continuing to tell us that everybody needs to attend college if they want to be successful.

This bell was casted in the Whitechapel bell foundry in London UK. which casted the bell for Big Ben clock tower the manchester town hall clock tower, and many other bells. as the big ben bell is the biggist weighs 13 tons had a slight crack in it they rotated it away from the clapper and had rang untill 2017 till the clock tower went restoration. but rung for events. there is a replica liberty bell if thats casted by Whitechapel innthe UK.
