Just saying the Oakley’s should have gotthe music
Why were you wearing a mask outside that’s crazy.
Metal detecting has become 1000x more popular with you on the scene 😍
what a neat person the world needs more people like you great job
Slide rock in Sedona!!! Man good times. I had an awesome childhood going there in the summer!!! I now wave from LBK TX!!! I miss AZ!
Been there!!!!
Love hearing your excitement when finding the sunken treasures.
Nice job Nora and beautiful scenery...thank you!
Love your adventures Nora. Keep them coming. Thanks.
Hi Nora I just started watching your channel. I enjoy watching your enthusiasm and positive attitude. Love your filming technique. Enjoy watching all the beautiful places you visit. Keep up the great work there young lady.
Hey hey. Old plastic bottles are great to wrap old fishing line around. Makes nice tight package to toss out.🙂
Place the watch in a bowl of rice, wait a week. Charge and recheck. Nice finds looks like fun.
I've never been to Arizona, so I was surprised to hear that the water was so cold. Nice video. I love how you always try to return the things that you find.
It's freezing and snows in the winter, Sedona is in the mountains
@@tdcbass Thanks Shawn, I just always picture hot desert. I'd like to visit there some day.
The outside temp wasn't cold that day when the sun was out but the water was icy. I'm pretty sure the creek I was detecting starts up in Flagstaff which is even more north and much colder than Sedona. 🥶😄
@@NoraSvet In one of my recent videos, I went rock hunting on Lake Huron on the last day of December in Michigan. That water was icy, literally. I only went in wearing waders, though, I'm not as tough as you are.
Flagstaff has ski slopes as it is high up on the mountains, yet forty five minutes down the road is Phoenix at sea level. Sedona is in between them and the water is often snow melt from up the mountains. While Phoenix is down in the dessert, they do have cold snaps in winter and nights can get very cold there as well so it is an interesting place. Dry air can have massive swings in temperatures. Hope this helps in understanding.
Another successful hunt! You do a great job on your videography!
Buenísimo, gran aventura, un abrazo cordial desde el desierto más árido y seco del mundo. Antofagasta, Chile.
Those leaves were pretty! Love the drone footage! Awesome finds!
My son and I watch your videos all the time! just wanted to say keep up the great work!
Thanks Matthew! Glad you guys enjoy them😊
I just came from one of your other videos, and my first thought was Sedona... I spent most my life living there. Next time you go, there is a spot down the road called Grasshopper Point. It's more relaxed, people party, and there is tons of cliff jumping. For a real adventure, a spot called The Crack outside of Beaver Creek in the same area is probably a gold mine, but it's a one or two hour hike. Great videos!
My dad and I did this at Lake Havasu back in the 80s...we didn't have metal detectors, though. But we found tons of great stuff...wallets ($$$) jewelry, coins, keys...just about anything that drunk people would have in their pockets. It was at a particularly popular cliff diving spot. On one trip we brought up about 100 golf balls. I would imagine there's a zillion cell phones these days. Drunk and swimming don't mix well!
Hey Byron, that's awesome! Yeah definitely full of cell phones and apple watches now😄
@@NoraSvet It's a really nifty hobby you have there and the videos you're making are unique and very entertaining. Love the varying locations...eye candy all over the place. One of these days you're going to hit the jackpot! Keep it up...I'm subscribed.
I found a 1903 V nickel and a 1919 Wheat Penny yesterday. :) Raver Hugz. Great on you for removing that garbage. I take a 5 gallon bucket just for that purpose when I go out. BTW I like your silly playful side - one of the best parts of the show LOL :) PLUR
That's awesome! I wonder if I have any of those sitting in my jar of crusty coins 🤔 lol
these vids are soo soothing and cool, every time you find something it feels like winning a low stakes blackjack (or sometimes high stakes, some really neat expensive stuff, @.@), love it! Thanks for making them, :D
Yea it makes good asmr or something to fall asleep to aswell
You're so ideal in so many ways. Thanks. Nothing easy about underwater metal detecting
Nora, keep up the good videos. Me and my two girls just love watching them. They want to be like you when they grow up.
Thanks for the content
I spent summers in the 60s at Flagstaff and went to slide rock often.
Muito bem produzido seus vídeos com belas imagem, apesar de não entender nada do q vc fala 😀 mas as imagens fala por si ! Parabéns
Bravo to you for pulling the trash, especially the fishing line. As a Great Lakes shipwreck scuba diver, I carry three dive scissors on me every dive. Getting tangled under water can be a death sentence. Three scissors on various locations assures I can always reach one. Sea Snips is the brand and they are highly recommended, even for free-divers. Scissors will cut line single-handed when a knife frequently will not due to the need for two handed need to do it. Very good videos.
Always happy to see a video from Nora pop up. You rock!
Great Video and Nice Haul Nora!
Looks like you found a good dive watch 👍🏼
While living in AZ I never got to go here but I did find tons of hidden waterfalls I doubt many people knew about during my adventures! Spots like this are quality for detecting every year! Always new things. So weird how people lose watches, you would think they would be fastened with the hole correctly! Great video, thanks for sharing!
Wow! Love Arizona! You’re all over the place! ✌️
AZ is the best! 😃
Nora, I look forward to your vids you definitely deserve a super thumbs up. 👍😉👍 Keep up the good work and be safe. Hope you have the best of luck this year finding that gold.
Thank you so much Howard! 😊
I’ve jumped off both those spots. Actually, i’m pretty sure that’s my quarter. 🤪
send money for a stamp and I sure she will mail back your quarter.
Want it back?😝
@@NoraSvet Yea... gas money!
😂😂 Finders keepers, losers weepers!
@@NoraSvet 😂
That Casio goes for anywhere between $100 - $150. Good find! They all are water resistant.
Just found your channel, loved it. Thanks!
Hello Nora, great hunt, i thought you were going to detect the park where you did the introduction,
Looked great and very promising...
but the water was amazing,
great finds too,
Shame about the Apple watch though, would have been great to return it, thanks for sharing ATB GL&HH 👍
Thanks Jim! Haha you know I stay away from dry land as much as possible 😁 I have the watch in rice so hopefully it will power up eventually 🤞
😜🦆🦆✅
Wow, there's an awful lot to like about your videos! You are a wonderful example in a number of different ways!
Great video! You're a good person...world needs more of you.
I once found a sharp boat propeller at the beach at Saguaro Lake. It felt good to get it off the beach someone could have been hurt pretty bad from it. Also dragged out a stainless steel lighter. While you are checking with your metal detector, you might want to keep your eye out for any very small gold nuggets, they are always at the very bottom of the silt on the bedrock, sometimes collect in the cracks of the bedrock. Black sand, quartz, metallic, heavy stones, those are signs of possible gold in the area.
Goregous woman, you're a rare one keep it up!
Some good finds, too bad about the watch! Nice editing!
Just found this channel.. Loving it so far!
Have a good year. It's always good to see you. Good luck.
5:45 -- "Find any goodies?" * Shows the rusty can of Redbull instead of the Casio G-shock she just found *
Clever girl...
Casio G Shock is only about $70
Here for the funbags stayed for the funbags!
Me too
Love your videos very entertaining and well done
I enjoy all your videos, keep up the good work!!!!
you have a great sense of humor, i was laughing out loud at your swag slow-mos lol
Lol😆
the slow mo finds remind me of like a video game lol
Any time you find electronics underwater you should let them dry for a few days before trying to charge them or power them on. It can really help out if you put them in container with a packet or two of desiccant. It draws the moisture out of things. If you don't know what it is, it's those little bean bag type things that come inside of a bottle of vitamins, or sometimes inside of a new pair of shoes or something. You can buy different size desiccant packs online. They come in really handy for keeping electronics dry.
You're so right about the fishing equipment. A kid drowned years ago when he jumped in and a small lure caught his pants. The line was tangled in some underwater limbs. He wasn't able to surface. Looks like you have a blast and doing a service also.
Those Gshock watches are impressive
Love me some G-Shock watches
Good to meet you in Sedona! See you on the trail!
Nice meeting you guys! I'll send you the truck clip when I get a chance to upload it 😁

This is a brilliant idea. I would love to pursue a hobby like this. Fun stuff!
Hey nora. the water is apparently colder and colder. it's always a pleasure to see your video. I also do metal detection but not underwater but that's not why I'm hotter. happy new year to you and see you soon.
A +
Haha yes unfortunately because it's winter now. Happy new your! 😃🥂
Rock 🪨 removing in crevices cold 🥶 water 💦 your training for sniping🥊
You're secretly grooming all of us to be gold snipers, aren't you? 😂
I'm training for Tasmania obviously! 🤣
He really is! I don't mind though 😄
What a great name. My grandmothers name was Nora Cumbee Tidwell. 1892-1987. She was one of three sisters all got their college degrees and taught school. I’ve always liked the name but rarely hear it today.
Wow that's awesome! You're right it's not too common of a name. I personally only know 1 other Nora 😄
I visited Oak Creek for the first time in 1963. Sedona back then was pretty much 1 gas station a couple of small stores. There were a couple of homes here and there but the population was pretty small. We used to fish at Slide Rock because there was nobody there and the water was full of trout. The trout we're all 12" to 14" long and they stocked them. Of course it was a lot more peaceful then but you would have found way fewer items too.
Wow that's awesome! I'm sure it looked very different back then but just as beautiful 😃
I've always wanted to go treasure hunting with a metal detecter. Maybe when I become an old man. So that means soon.
Do it now.
When your an old man you will have bad knees, hips, and, shoulders.
At the least.
And It will hurt like hell.
Like I said.
DO IT NOW.
0:59....num num num
Fantastic video ... glad I found your channel.. im just getting into underwater detecting myself here in Northern Ireland
Fantastic channel, congratulations 💚
Perfect time of year to do it!
This note is for the Nora: the coin shown in this clip (on 7:13 sec) the Second row on the left - looks like a 1974 aluminum cent and if it's the case you will become a millionaire because this is a super rare coin and it's worth a fortune. If this is indeed the 1974 aluminum cent - would be nice to get a small reward from you :)
I think that is a nickel but can you be more specific as to which one?
If your pulling foreign objects out of the waster in a state park the rangers should be giving you an 'Atta Girl'
They seemed pretty happy when I walked out with a bag full of trash 😆
Really loved the scenery.
Sedona is so beautiful 🙂
Nice video Nora
There’s someone out there who occasionally wonders what happened to their Apple Watch and will never come across this video.
Maybe they will! you never know 😄
@@NoraSvet If you remove the bands there is the watch's serial # there, and you can look it up online at a special site
Pretty soon your going to need a mask to dive.lol
ya no doubt!
Great Nora, the water looks horribly cold! brave and good huntress :)
to help you with dealing with the cold water maybe you could try those heat packs that skiers /snowboarders use, stick them in your booties.
insole foot warmers and toe warmers. They may seem expensive but you won't have to worry about frost bite taking a toe or two. And if they don't fit you can use them for when you get out of the water.
I used "glove warmers" as a search but I'm not able to post it for some reason.
I'm just amazed to see a modern woman cleaning 🤷♂️
Oh I am so happy to find you Nora and you channel seems to rock as well. Thanks for the cool treasure hunt I love metal detecting and cliff diving as well!
I love doing this here in the Uk I even like the ancient finds I often find. Awesome fun not so in the Canadian north where I worked due to the temp and wildlife waiting for you to come up for air lol bring a friend or dog :) Happy hunting
Your underwater video is alot better than others, good job!
Wow, thanks!😊
WOW, that place was loaded. Nice hunt!
Rob / Flthunder Diggin' Florida w/ Rob!

Congrats on 60.3 K!!!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
WOW!!! Great video!!! Thank you!!!
Another enjoyable adventure!
Love all your adventures you look like you're enjoying yourself that's great keep on doing it as long as you can once you get old you won't be able to do it
awesome video full of great finds !!
Nice finds and great footage of that area of Sedona Nora. Looks like you had a great time. Take care and hh
Happy New Year thank you for another great video. Stay Safe.
Happy new year Craig! 🙂🥂
Take a couple of thermos bottles filled with very warm water. Fill your wet suits up with the warm water just before you get in. The warm water helps quite a bit.
That's a great idea! I really need to start doing that 😄
Nice finds there Nora! 😎😎😎
Love it!! We love Slide Rock! Haven’t ever metal detected or dove there yet, but will when it warms up! It’s a great place to people watch as well. Like Funniest Home Video footage with everyone slipping and falling. 😬😆
Yes definitely wait till it warms up! lol 🥶 You guys will find some awesome things especially in the summer when there's more people. I wish I had scuba to thoroughly search the bottom. 😄
@@NoraSvet ya, the water is cold even IN the hot summer! Ahhh! Good to know there are deep spots to dive!
Cool that you return what you can 👍
Dobre Dien Svet !! Love your vids!! Especially the extra bits at the end !
Good day to you too Denise! 😄
Muy emocionante los videos, gran trabajo 👍⌚⌚⌚👓🕶😎🤿👍
Nora - I have been watching your videos for over a year now. I have also been watching another diving, UA-cam detectorist & fossil hunter called, "Wild Kyle" who lives in Florida. I thought it would be fun if you two collaborated to do a diving, detecting & fossil hunt together on UA-cam. I always enjoy your adventures and hope you find some fantastic relics or treasures in the future! Take care and be safe!
I wore out my cutoffs sliding there in 1969 when I was a kid, nice to see video from Slide Rock...
Great Job Nora nice !
Great finds enjoyed watching
Congrats 1 million views. Great content.
Not sure how you showed up in my feed but so glad you did. Very cool video. I loved the B roll and drone clips. So beautiful. How cool of you to return watches to people. - new subscriber! 😁👍🏼
