Everytime I feel bad about my makeup skills I watch these. Also it's amazing this girl looks so young without makeup, but they manage to make her look like she's in her late forties every time. Never fails
It's quite the art. I AM in my late forties and on the rare occasions I wear makeup I get compliments... because I get how restraint works lol. Even bare-faced I do not look as old as they so often make the lovely Judy look. Makes me shudder 😕
The moment when he put the dark blue in your eyelids is the moment he started to have a psychotic break. It actually looked pretty before that, and then everything fell apart very quickly.
the only thing i can think of is some of them just add it to the salon as an afterthought or something there's no way all of them are genuinely into makeup but still give results like this
I’m half convinced that this guy has seen her videos and went “let’s do something really bad for the fun of it” because I just can’t believe anyone would think this is a good look.
I have the same problem and I literally spent YEARS trying to find the right shade, I had to go through 5 brands of foundation, until I randomly ordered a foundation online (picking the shade frome the small squares on my screen) and it actualy is the most perfect shade to my skin tone (thx Revolution F1). I can put it on one half on my face only and no one would notice. I follow many woc and they also have trouble finding the right tone because it os not dark enough. Most brands just make makeup for the regular sami black women and white women that tan and go to solariums, have either olive or orange undertones, then one yellowish tone for Asians, and then there is the one almost white foundation for the gingers I guess. And nothing in between. So you either end up looking like Donald Trump with a spray tan, person in the middle of a liver failure, or like Elizabeth I.with completely white face.

It amazes how bad some of these "Make Up Artists" that do your make up are! As a make up artist myself, every salon that I have worked in had me do an "audition" to see my skill set. Granted, most "art" is subjective to ones personal taste, but people that claim to be an MUA and let someone leave looking as you did is a slap in the face to all the really good make up artist out there. I love how cool, calm and collected you are in your videos. I would like to see you confront one of them sometime and tell them that you don't like this, or the way they are doing that. I know that nobody likes being told how to do their job. But it's a personalized service and should be treated as such. Along the process they should be asking you what look you are wanting, what colors do you like or not like and so forth. I know you already know this, I'm just venting. I'm glad you are here doing this for us, and that you don't take it or yourself too seriously.
Makes me wanna carve my eye out each time! These so called "MUAs" tend to undercharge over here and then after, us real MUAs, get told we are too expensive... but like, you won't get a skin infection, a pink eye, bad foundation match if you go see a real MUA xD

Honestly those are the cleanest brushes ive seen so far from your videos, even the little box holding everything was like clean. His hands are clean! Well maintained nails , so it seems atleast sanitary to look for a positive i guess
Especially when they use it for 30 customers without cleaning it... My brush is just touching my face, but these brushes are used for many faces, for cleaning kitchens and cars, they are painting oil paintings and clean the cage of a whole guinea pig family. It's horrible... and stunning how great Judys skin still looks after this treatment.

She talked about it previously how they tell the artist they are filming. I think a lot of this is fake now. I think she goes in asking for these dramatic looks she knows will turn out bad. Before she use to give so much information about the salons and now she doesn’t. She doesn’t even tell us how much she spent anymore

This makeup looks like when I performed in the Nutcracker as a one of the lifelike dolls that danced to the “delight of all”. And yes, lifelike meant “clown like”. That being said, you should not look like this if you just wanted your makeup done on a Tuesday lol
